Personally, an MDL rating of 8.9 is really high and when comparing it to the likes of Goblin (8.8), Healer (8.8), Signal (8.9) and Vincenzo (8.9), I just don't particularly see this series being of that calibre.

However, I do think an 8 is low but I also think a 8.3 MDL rating for the show Secret (or Secret Love) is kinda low as well but then again those are my opinions.

The Jdrama is called Aaro on Netflix but before that I was catching up on Iron Family, so didn't get round to watching the final 2 episodes of this show yet but probably will do this week.

I started watching it on Tuesday and I'm up to episode 9, will watch the finale tomorrow.

I wonder when they will release the last 2 episodes of Okura. I haven't watched it yet.

I've seen the first 10 episodes, it's a good guilty pleasure watch. I am surprised by the rating drop because a lot of users were rating it really highly.

I haven't watched the last 2 episodes, I assume it's a happy ending. I've been preoccupied by some great J-drama on Netflix.

I remember binge watching it, so it must have been completed at that point and I think I saw it around 2007 or 2008. It was like one of the first 10 to 20 dramas I had watched.

I have no real clue what my first drama was, it was probably Kurosagi, Hana Kimi or Liar Game but I know my first K-drama that I watched was Full House.

7.6 rating is a travesty for such a fantastic show.

She was a brilliant actress and her husband is a fantastic actor.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, probably more to do with me being cynical but most celebrities are "philanthropists" but usually not because of the good of their heart, they attain tax exemptions and obviously good PR when doing so.

Compared to the American version of the show, how different are they to each other?

"Romance between the 2 ML", really? So is there like a love triangle situation going on with the 1st ML liking the FL but a 2nd ML liking the 1st ML and the FL being unsure about the 1st ML?

Wasn't trying to be rude but okay (unless it was the "your point" lol). It was how your comment could have been misconstrued easily.

This drama just hits well, absolutely enjoyed the entire time I was watching it with the show feeling like it was speed-running the manga's main plot arcs.

I gave it a 9.5/10, don't be fooled by the rating, I have a feeling many J-Dramas are review-bombed for nefarious reasons just to make K-Dramas seem better on MDL with the suggestion that K-Dramas are better than J-Dramas. Countless K-Dramas sit on lofty seats here on MDL when they're just really weak stories.

For example, Kisarazu Cats Eye is rated 7.9, that rating is typically looked at as a poor drama in MDL rating terms but trust me this is one of the funniest shows that will stick to you even after 20 plus years since seeing it, I gave it a 10/10 and I feel it deserves a better rating here on MDL.

It's not a K-Drama, she isn't a 2nd FL but a supporting character and yes, she is 42 years old and beautiful, your point? Unless of course you are admiring her in the shock and disbelief that she's in her 40s but looks like she's still in her late 20s or early 30s.

I watched the Kdrama almost 20 years ago (now that I think about it) and was watching this as it was coming out but never finished it. I remember the Arashi opening song it had.

Does anyone know if this is available on any official streaming services like Netflix, Viki, Prime, etc?

I have a feeling none are available, my guess is that I'll have to torrent it possibly.
