Series are supposed to tell a complete story even if it's a chapter in a longer narrative. Cutting stories up…
I bought both on VHS when I was underage lol. I meant that the story was unlikely to fit into one movie and why it was split into 2. I do agree in splitting up the story just to milk the viewership at a later date, generally in anime, it's a normal practice to get ppl to read the manga if the anime itself is based on an on-going manga.
However, a good example where the platform/studio are deliberately milking an IP by slowing down the pacing is the Solo/Leveling anime, they covered about 45 to 50 chapters in the first season but should have been able to cover more especially since the webtoon/manwha is already finished. I think Crunchyroll want to make 3 to 4 seasons and a few movies out of the IP even though I think the story itself is rather short.
Ah gotcha but reading about what happens in the first season instead of watching the first season, that's a genuine shame because the first season was a fantastic show.
I think the confusion comes from you saying you haven't watched the first season but have decided to watch the 2nd season. So did you really not watch the first season? Because even though you said it as a "joke", it really isn't much of a joke.
I'm up to episode 05 of this season and the tone of it is kinda odd, from the gut-wrenching and nailbiting first season, this season seems more like a comedy.
Okay, I just noticed that it's only going to be 12 episodes and now it makes sense in terms of development. You can always kind of guess when the "couple" become a "thing" in if it's just beyond the half-way mark. I enjoy it for what it is, it doesn't take itself seriously and keeps itself lighthearted and grounded.
I swear Kim Ye Won has played this character multiple times, she has just been eternally stereotyped into these kind of roles of just being unlikable even though I'm pretty sure in the next episode, she saves her friend and crush from his father.
From my understanding, he was sent a video of a woman getting inappropriately touched by a friend of his, by the friend in question and I think he commented back in some sort of distasteful fashion after watching it but what you have written is literal libel (which is a crime btw in most countries) in saying that he was pretty much a rapist.
Goo Hara died because of cyberbullying, are you okay with cyberbullying someone you don't actually know?
Because she married a guy that saw an inappropriate and illegal video of a woman getting SA'ed I think. The vid is I think connected to the Burning Sun scandal but her husband wasn't involved in the scandal itself. He was sent a video, saw it and commented back.
The guy in question used to date Goo Hara a long time ago but they broke up, Goo Hara was involved in helping the Burning Sun scandal to come to light by identifying someone in the police force who was covering for some of the crimes that were being committed and helping the cases to be closed and disappeared.
Goo Hara committed suicide, mainly due to depression from the cyberbulling she received and I guess this is something "ot6 briizes kiss my feet" doesn't want to do but in actuality is now "cyberbulling" HyunA.
Personally I don't care about the drama, they got married because they love each other but to cancel her and call her disgusting, is just gross, why are you so heated about someone else's personal life.
So the last episode I saw was episode 12 and I was kinda disappointed on how they dealt with Satan and the reveal of Serial Killer J, it just felt so basic that I haven't gone back to the series yet.
Instead, I did finish Seoul Busters which I wholeheartedly enjoyed from start to finish.
It says Disney Plus, but I'm watching on Hulu. And I don't have the Hulu and Disney bundle.
It's on Disney Plus in the UK, makes more sense since Disney owns Hulu. However, I know in the States, Disney would rather break up their content between platforms and milk more money from the American audience.

She's delivering such a chilling performance in "The Trunk". I hope she gets better and stays well.

I haven't watched this show yet, from the outside it just looks like a comedy drama about sisterhood with a sprinkle of romance.
