I like watching stuff on my TV (it's a Samsung 4K), I've tried watching stuff off a streaming site on the TV's browser but the quality of the picture is usually kinda bad, 720p or it's the fact that it's getting upscaled for the screen so it looks like low quality. I wanna be watching these dramas in it's best setting, I guess I'm stickler when it comes to this lol.
I never watched a show where she was a main female lead but I came across a YT video by Mujin called "South Korea just bullied another celebrity to death - The Tragedy of Kim Sae-ron".
Just found out she was the little girl from "Man from Nowhere".
I really liked the first 2 episodes and even more interested since it's based on a manga but it's an ongoing manga, so it's either going to follow the source material or have an original ending.
Literally the worst FL of all time. I know a bit hyperbole but OMG a f-ing baby walking in a doctors gown, acting…
I've never watched the show, is the FL like this throughout the entirety of the show or does she change her attitude within the first 5 or so episodes?
I kinda like watching it on my TV, so I do at times hook up my laptop to the TV via a hdmi cable and when I do that, I download the show from a private torrent site, so that I'm getting the best picture quality.
I know of the 2 sites but refrain from using them for the above reason.
Right now, I want to watch Keizoku because it came out before Specs: Birth.
this makes me want to vomit my launch that i had tonight 😃
Why would you have your lunch at night lol.
I dropped the rating from a 10 to 9.5 but this is still a pretty decent drama for what it is, which is primarily a rom-com with melo infusions.
I know you gave this a 5/10, so I can see how the show wasn't for you, how comes you finished it and didn't drop it?
You did however drop Revenant, which was a very solid show but could have had more sense of dread in it. Much like the earlier seasons of Higurashi or Gannibal. I'm not judging but what did you not like about it?
Like I gave a 8/10 for a show I didn't like (I should have given it a 6 or 6.5), so don't look at my ratings like you would rate your stuff, at this point it's more a habit than anything.
Personally, K-Dramas just feel really weak for me and in particular the last couple of years, with only a few exceptions being actually genuinely fantastic. Most of the recent K-Dramas come out with a strong first couple of episodes before just becoming boring drivel or they just come out of the gate being not so great.
Seems like Viki is switching to two weekly episodes from next week, since it shows episodes 2, 3 and 4 releasing…
I had no idea it was on Viki, saw this comment to check the app and it's on there for the UK region, which is great.
I'm hoping it's a mistake in regards to episode 2 coming out in 5 days time, it already shows how long episode 2 is and apparently it's 42 minutes 39 seconds long, which is kinda short but the first episode was 43 minutes long.
I'll see if they drop the second episode today on Viki or I'll just wait for a couple more episodes to pile up before bingeing them all.
before you watch this drama please don’t check comments, watch it and decide it yourself. this is actually a…
Do you think the pairings you suggested that would make it better are mainly for chemistry reasons or something else?
I haven't watched the show yet and I'm looking forward to watching it (I'm waiting for more episodes to pile up) but a lot of comments have problems with Gong Hyo Jin is being protrayed in it. Personally, she's one of my favourites actresses but the last time I watched her was in Jealousy Incarnate.
when fun light hearted shows like this have 7.4 on this platform and the same CEO x Employee/poor person trope…
You talking about Love Scout? I haven't watched it yet but I want to watch this one but not sure where to watch, I assume I have to watch it on Kocowa Plus (not sure if it's worth getting).
I know they're places like DCool and such but I much prefer to just watch it on my TV via an app (don't know any that are actually "free").
I only have the final episode to watch and the show definitely does get better, as you come to understand why they have to fight this way.
The sheer amount of twists and turns particularly in the later episodes, can feel a little bit tired as if they're dragging the suspense a bit longer, "Oh no, you're not the main culprit either" sorta thing.
There's a really tired joke of when they're all fired up to investigate and the next shot is them having exhausting all avenues with nothing to show for at the end and slumped in demotivation.
I don't know if the allegations are true or not, but you shouldn't dismiss bullying like this; bullying can have…
I made a typo in my original comment, it should be "want".
I wasn't dismissing bullying.
However, cancelling someone's career because of bullying that happened maybe 20 plus years ago, why speak about it now and not then, it just doesn't seem right. Like she has been in the industry for so long and nothing of this sort came out but now it has all of a sudden.
To me the entire thing seems fishy as if they wanted to kill her career by holding onto something because if it was about some sort of justice, why wasn't it brought to light back then or like 15 or so years ago.
I do not like jumping onto bandwagons to hate people when I do not know the fully story. Even the admission she gave was being expelled for school violence, it's being labelled as bullying across many sites but it's all conjecture. For all we know, she threw a brick at a guy who tried to sexually assault her but because of no proof, she was expelled for school violence since the guy was injured but nothing seemed out of place with her. What I just wrote is also conjecture and so is the supposed "admission of bullying" when she said I was "expelled for school violence".
Regardless, the targeted cancellation of someone, to me seems like another form of bullying. I can imagine she is being sent awful things such as death threats, threats of SA to her post, her socials, etc.
Honestly, we will never know the full facts of the bullying case because of genuine lack of evidence and it just being "what she said, I said".
This is a bit of a struggle to watch, I started this on Sunday and I'm almost done with episode 03, I was trying to find something else to watch but gave up when I couldn't decide, so I've gone back to watching this.
It's just a bit of a weird show, fabricating evidence to get real evidence, just feels like cheating. I'm going to carry on as I'm intrigued by the whole "hide and seek" stuff and hope that it gets better. Right now, it's a bit of a chore to watch and Inori looks more like she would be a yakuza than a detective.
I agree with you. I think she's better suited for more complex roles that are not hinged on beauty, not ones like…
Legit, I had to google "WTSG Korean drama", I hadn't read the rest of your comment to realise it was the new drama she's in, "When The Stars Gossip". It might be dependent on if there are also other people but if it's just them in the same confined space for a long period of time, both ML and FL might start to catch feelings or suddenly see things different and probably why the sudden close-ups to reflect that she's stunning in his head or something.
I haven't watched it yet but in general she's one of favourite actresses but she isn't a showstopper as you put it. She's never been an actress that you would ever class as "wooden" either, she's either cherry, silly, charming, goofy, adorable....you get the picture.
Both "Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy" and "Sang Doo, Let's Go To School" were both incredibly funny and great dramas where she was the main lead, the MDL rating really don't depict the truth on how good they were. Master's Sun is still my favourite show she did though.

I don't usually watch C-Dramas, haven't seen that many.
