I love all the Wu Xie actors in their own rights but I also think Qin Hao is my favorite. I connected with him emotionally way more. And I'm sad just thinking about him at the end. Tomb of the Sea was just great overall - Leo was awesome too. Such a good show!

After how fantastic Tomb of the Sea was with Qin Huo as Wu Xie - I don't need Wu Xie to be the latest icon anymore. I really like how they just cast whoever they want. Its similar to how James Bond is done, just faster.

Edward Zhang is a great actor - he played a 13 year old in Qin Dynasty at 40 and as ridiculous as that sounds, he played an epic Emperor Ying Zheng.

I've been quite excited to see him as Wu Xie tbh

//Edit - Also, ZQL doesn't age, so he can be any actor but this is the best actor that has played Pang Ze/Fatty so having Edward allowed them to keep him also, which I really like.

Friends can have girlfriends/boyfriends - if these two had such they would not be OK with Ruan and Ling being so close, cause they are more than friends are.

I was unaware of the English issue - that is very bad. I've been referring to English as the Global Language for years now. I've got into arguments with American an British people about how we don't own English, no country can claim it anymore. Its how all of us can communicate together and I love being able to talk to everyone. Thats terrible.

China has very interesting demographic problem right now - there will only half of them in 2100 - roughly 700 million people less than now. That is not a fixable problem, that is simply the consequences of their one child policy and cannot be undone. This is why taking Taiwan must happen this generation or next - Ji Ping knows this and wants it to be him that take it back.

When I said the microchips I only meant that we literally have no choice in the matter - doesn't matter who is in power in the US, that decision can only be made one way. We ought to defend Taiwan regardless.

I do recall that now - at least one of the times. I expect to see more of that in the future. It might have been an attempt to get it to pass censorship - but I think its more like a requirement the CCP is placing on its media. Additionally, most of the jabs are actually anti capitalism - the USA does not = Capitalism. The USA= its People. Our economic system could change and we would still be here. And capitalism sucks. We are in late stage capitalism now, so it will only get worse and more noticeable.

The candy bars will have more air pockets, portions will get even smaller - we gotta get that 3% growth or economy is broken - that has to happen forever, which is obviously impossible. So... I'm an American - we are very much about that revenge and absolutely nothing good has ever come from any instance I have successfully got my revenge. Glad to see you mention Jericho - one of my thoughts seeing him was that he should be the lead - not based on his performance or theirs, he just has that energy. I haven't seen him enough but I think in the right production with the right co-star he could be really popular.

I really don't believe it was intended to be controversial. I don't kno why the cast was selected but I kno that is literally someone's job to get an actor cast in a role and I can't accept that anyone would pitch a "show for pdf files" as a way to get their Actor a role - I also don't believe a professional would accept such a pitch for their Actor either. That is ridiculous.

Rather, I think the controversy was merely overlooked - prolly bc they didn't realize just how controversial this actually is at this exact moment in time. I truthfully hope that this stuff here on MDL is/remains the extent of it.

Tbh, Mac is an industry professional and is clearly going to do this for life - I think Addicted was a huge opportunity for him and he likely made it happen. Bc he is so well connected it was probably very easy for many people around him to just move passed his age - he is likely more professional than many actors twice as old. His parents were probably very supportive and like you said - its Thailand, this isn't unacceptable at all there. I don't think there was actually fishy intention - I kinda feel bad for Mac actually. Its not his fault the world has lost its mind.

Are you sure? Their actual website rn now redirects to MangoTV which I think is real. Highly doubtful MangoTV bought an illegal service or blatantly establishes their ownership of one. Assuming Mango is real that doesn't add up.
