Fam… I ffwd through it 😂because I can’t. The NC scenes in My Stubborn were 10x better than whatever this…
Well, yes… I’m very well aware that the sub-genres are different. Obviously.
Yet I’m still gonna compare them because I’m focusing on the actors and how I felt while watching the NC scene.
I also compare this to ABO Desire (in my original comment to the series, I compare the two, which I won’t rehash here for the sake of avoiding redundancy), which DOES have the same subgenre yet still manages to avoid the heavy duty cringe NC scenes.
Ok, so I finally was able to watch episode 1 and I think I’m gonna like this. It’s super cute. And Kimisawa Yuki is gorgeous. Sakai Sho is perfect for the role. I realized I’ve seen him in his other BL series as a support role. It’ll be good to see him as the ml. They match in looks, I think, which makes the viewing more pleasant (imo). So far I only felt cringe in the grouper scene (though why he can’t just move himself- I thought the “help” would be more direct for some reason.
NC in stubborn had chemistry, here it was just messy. i think second and third couple might be better, but then…
I’m hoping it gets a bit better. Messy is definitely a good word to describe it 😊 But if they’re soulmates, there should be at least SOME chemistry showing through the desperation and animal instinct that is the hear/rut. That was completely missing this episode. Too bad because they missed an opportunity here. Oh well.
Episode 2…Fam… I ffwd through that NC scene because I can’t. The second-hand embarrassment was REAL. The NC scenes in My Stubborn were 10x better than whatever this was- and then they had the nerve to speed it up?! I’m dead. The way they did the uncontrollable urges and sensuality in ABO Desire was more in line with how my imagination views Omegaverse heat/rut. Thailand just goes silly with things a little too often for my taste (except Don’t Be Too Emorional- that series is peak for me so far). I wonder what China would do with this script…
But I’m actually looking forward to the story BEHIND the cringe NC. Like, how they navigate a relationship in reverse order. I’ll just have to ffwd through the second-hand embarrassment parts. Watching the scenes shown during ending credits gives me SOME small hope for an interesting story. But I know my expectations for this have been appropriately adjusted after this episode. I’ll enjoy the series more this way. Somewhere between Pit Babe and My Stubborn. ✔️👍🏽
I can say I applaud this couple for being willing to do these scenes, let alone act them out this way. I’m already imagining Boat hiding while watching this scene later. 🤭 Poor guy. Mwanwhile, Oat will likely have a big smile on his face and laugh about it. Peobably not too much embarrassment on his part. 😏

The ending just felt abrupt to me. all on all a decent watch. I loved both leads. And I guess what O loved moat…
There’s a special episode that may make it a little less abrupt for some. But I agree that these fluffy sweet JBLs end pretty abruptly quite a bit. Always leaves me feeling some kind of way…
I understand your frustration. I want to watch the drama on Viki, but still not available in my region (North…
I discontinued my subscription after the 10th or so ad in 20 minutes. I was so done after I saw how much I was paying a month. Absolutely not. Disney is tripping. I saw that they want $20/mo for no ads and I barely go to the site. There aren’t enough dramas on there that I want to watch to pay that much for no ads. To me, the $13/mo was really too much already, since I only go there every few months or so for Disney+ only shows.
hey! thanks for informing about wattpad! I appreciate...I am going to read it because I just cannot wait for the…
This app also likes to do some wierd auto-correcting. You can also just edit your comment with the little … menu option (though sometimes you need to close the app and reopen to do so). This app has a lot of bugs, but still worth the use. 😊
I suggest you read it on Wattpad. There are quite a few events that occur, plus a pretty big plot twist I didn’t see coming when reading. But it makes a kind of sense. I will say that it has a happy ending, so there’s that.
Did you watch the trailer? It most definitely is fantasy.
The devil arc is at least supernatural to some degree- at least, the wings appearing in the trailer gives it the appearance of the supernatural. I could be wrong though. It could just be suggestive and he’s not actually a devil in disguise (though why is he getting headaches and then seem compelled to make a deal with someone shortly after). I didn’t read the novel, but Thai does like its supernatural/fantasy elements, and Khemjira was widely popular, so I wonder if they’ll add it as a modification… We shall see. 😊
English Title: After Switching Seats, It Seems The Guy Behind Me Has A Crush On Me
I wasn’t a huge fan of Eito in Takara’s Treasure because, even there, he looked too old to play a college freshman. Now he’s cast as a HIGH SCHOOL student? The innocence he portrayed in Takara’s Trasure wasn’t quite believable on someone who didn’t look the part. Apparently his character in this one is also supposed to be kinda innocent, based on those who’ve said they read the novel and commented in Reddit. If that’s the case, I hope the innocence is more believable, though it’ll be hard for me mostly because he doesn’t have that natural naive innocence (my opinion). But who knows? Maybe I’ll feel differently after it airs. Despite this casting flaw (just my opinion so don’t come at me), I did manage to enjoy Takara’s Treasure and have rewatched it several times.
I think offgun put me off the "stupid, silly uke" trope forever. I love gun, i think he can act. But over…
You should watch Not Me. It’s completely different from their usual trope. I absolutely loved it. Gun did so well playing twins with really different personalities. Definitely more serious themes. I watched it on GMM’s YouTube channel, I think (it was at least 3 years or so ago.
Y’all it’s taking me FOREVER to get through Ep 4 (I waited until both are out to watch)… Not because I keep rewatching, but because I have to keep pausing because 🫣🫣

I have issues.
