It's a Chinese BL so yeah, pretty tame. The novel is SIGNIFICANTLY more explicit. The spice mostly happens in…
"(I'm obviously not counting WWI, that was very uncool.)" š I'm not quite that old, either, but I have seen a few *ahem* decades *cough cough*
Good points made about the era. I can appreciate even hetero men caring for themselves and their appearance. It seems to have significantly fallen off with today's men in many cultures, especially Western ones.
Your comment made me think of when Shuai points it out and SuoWei realizes he cares more about his appearance after he starts falling for Chi Cheng. He didn't care when he was "straight", but now that he's "bending" for Chi Cheng, he's more conscientious of his appearance when getting ready for the day.
So...this is the less of "evils". In the novel, Chi Cheng goes after his more delicate "orbs"…
The one I read is also gone. They keep being deleted. You have to read one quickly whenever you find it. I just kept searching up the name until I found a new one.

The 1-10 NC scene was like, okay... People were so sprung it. Yeah, it was well acted, especially for Thomas, but it was a no for me. Too "gay" Thai Brady Bunch for me.
Now Chi Cheng? Bro was horny af for SuoWei from D1 and not ashamed, like you said. The build up kept going until the explosion.
Be it 1969 or 1970, to me there is little difference. It's the "hippie" vibe of the era I find ick. I will likely wait several episodes before I watch, if I don't end up waiting for it to be done. I will need to be able to freely fast forward when I need to. I do know that BOC produces pretty good dramas, so it'll probably have more of a Not Me vibe. I have to get over my issues with the hippie /late 60s-70s vibe to watch it.
Guys is Dai famous or something? The comments seem really excited for him. Can anyone enlighten me on this?
As escobs said, The Boyfriend is where we all know him from. If you watch it, you will fall in love with him, too. I strongly suggest watching it. SO GOOD! And since it's concluded, you don't have to wait every week in angst as we did for each episode. š
It was not set for a time on Netflix. Just marked as āComing Soonā. Itās Netflix though so they could drop…
Sometimes MDL does that, but Netflix Japan has never had an actual date, I don't believe. Netflix Japan only listed it as part of their 2025 lineup. I think people were just speculating up to this point. And it still may be released this month. It is entirely plausible for Netflix to drop the trailer next week and follow up with a release date the week after. Though with a well-known figure like Taecyeon, they may give us a little more notice than that. Who knows, really. We do know it is "Coming Soon" though, so likely we won't have to wait too long. It is more likely that it will still air this month.

I agree. Especially with RL. I doubt they'd be able to have as many projects following this series if their scenes were more explicit than they are. The BTS are definitely more explicit, though. I think that's part of why the BTS are so popular.
Thailand is still pretty split on how they want to represent passionate romance in their BL dramas. On one side we have Playboyy and 4Minutes, and the other we have the very cutesy Your Sky (I thought this one was cringy af, even with some more daring NC scenes) and Boys In Love. Gems like Manner of Death and Not Me (easily one of my all-time favorite Thailand BLs for both acting, storyline, and real political awareness) are hard to come by . But I digress...
I didn't watch Together with me as I'm not really a MaxTul fan, though I absolutely loved them in Manner of Death. Even Shine doesn't really interest me. Though that's mostly because I'm not interested in the '70s setting (or anything in the 1900s) or Mile with long hair. The '70s gives me ick vibes, no matter what for some reason I can't really explain, no matter the genre.
guys do we know if it is weekly release, or will netflix do their usual batch releases, or will they do like an…
Nope. Netflix has said nothing but that itās āComing Soonā. With Netflix, they can drop all episodes with a week notice or space it out. We wonāt know until they decide we get to know. Ah, Netflix. The streaming service that gives no Fs.
It was set for September, but the notice was removed, so it seems it might be delayed. š

Yes. Netflix confirms itās a love story between two men. How explicit itāll be remains to be seen. I hope they donāt do us like Heesu in Class 2 did us. So dirty.
Jimmy and Sea, man! I love them so much. And this plot is plotting. None of the scenes feel cringe or forced because itās them. So refreshing in a GMMTV production. You know, when a couple can actually act and bring their characters to life without relying on their coupleās popularity to carry them? Thatās called talent. I love that Jimmy is playing his profession too. Heās comfortable in the doctor role and it shows up in the character very naturally. I love that Sea doesnāt play a helpless victim, but a strong guy in his own right with a vulnerable side he protects. He owns it. This episode solidifies my belief that we have a truly worthwhile series from Thailand. Thankfully.
And Kan is sus af frfr. š¤ØLike, thereās no way he isnāt involved in the mishaps Thap is experiencing.
Iām also curious how our second couple Ton and Pongās relationship will develop. š¤
Iām very suspicious of Firstās character. š¤š¤
Same! I feel like heās trying to get rid of Thap because of the director position he mentioned and is using this situation to do so while framing that board member docfor. Heās so sus itās crazy.
