Oh Man 23 went for the jugular frfr. Like, I knew it was coming, but they really went all out.

It’s funny, while this series was 2 episodes a week, we wanted more. Now that it’s coming to the finale, we don’t want it to end. I really hope these actors can work together in the future. BL or not. They have amazing on screen chemistry- all 4 of them. Hell, all 6- the Wang “brothers” also blended well in the group.

I’m sad tomorrow is the last day. I wonder if the episode will be longer…

Don’t tell me there’s a book! I dislike surprises so now ill have to find and read it if there’s an English translation.

I love Jet as the supportive bestie. Him being such a kindhearted person- I really wonder what sort of kharmic retribution he deseserved. I have some theories though.

Episode 1 DELIVERED! Story. Cinematography. Music. Acting. All ON POINT. I’m so excited for this- been waiting for so long and I was NOT disappointed at all. The chemistry between Keng and Namping has been amazing since their DMD Friendship days and it’s only gotten better. I really have loved them together and wanted to see them on screen SO BAD!

Bet she’s a jealous woman who wanted the uniform guy but he loved Khem’s soul back when the curse began. Just a guess, but I’m probably not far off. Still, seeing this all play out will be fun.

The dog was the puppy Khem saved as a kid visiting that master when he was a kid. I wonder if the old master is Peem’a father.

WeiWei and Papa Chi are so fun in the novel. I’m glad it’s still so in the series. I’m also glad his henchmen didn’t beat WeiWei up in the series because they hurt him pretty bad in the novel. When Chi Cheng saw that, he did a number on the guys when he caught them. Chi Cheng is watered down from the novel, but not necessarily in a bad way. He’s less violent. Bro had some seriously anger control management issues with people who messed with his DaBao in the series. It also makes sense that he’s not that violent because he’s not playing a cop like he was in the novel with his dad as a high ranking person in law (I forget his title). Harder to get away with that level of violence if you’re not in law.

I’m seriously not ready for this series to end. I am a little concerned about the release schedule. Does this mean it’ll be taken down soon after airing the finale? That’s my worry.

I watched it using a VPN on Bilibili. Only 1-20 though. No idea when the rest will be uploaded. I wish I could watch it on TVing but it’s not available in my area ☹️

Two episodes today and an episode a day until it ends. We are SO spoiled. I’m both excited and supremely sad that this will be over too soon. Like, what will I do with myself after episode 24 airs? Rewatch the series about 100 more times, I guess.

Yeah. Since that comment, I already rewatched 1-18 again. No skipping. My ADHD dopamine fix is this drama. I just give my brain what it wants. I’m a teacher so I have nothing I need to do until teacher training starts up after the show ends.

I did. I believe quite adequately- from rewatching each episode at least a few dozen times and reading the novel. But it’s all good. Plenty of things can explain his choice- whether you agree or not is up to you. I understand why he did it. The episodes leading up to this moment explain it well all by themselves, too.

I watch it almost once a week or so. I’ve only been watching BLs for a little over a year and have almost 400 under my belt- not counting ongoing and rewatches. I work in education so my breaks are manic episodes of drama-binges.

I really regret every sidewalk crack I ever stepped on. Truly regret if Monday would forgive me, I’ll also repent for hating Mondays for so long. I was a poor, ignorant fool who didn’t know any better. In fact, Monday is my new favorite day of the week! Scouts honor🖖🏽

OMG my ADHD obsesses until the next episode! I rewatch every episode at least 1x a day and the newly released episodes at least 5x each Monday and Tuesday. But I also dislike surprises, so I found and read the novel in a couple days. No more suspense.

😂 No shade from me! Sometimes I’m typing like a crazy person on my phone. That’s when MDL frustrates me the most because of the issues with spacing and spelling. I sometimes have to close the app and reopen just to go back and edit my comment to show the paragraphs and other edits. Endlessly annoying. Which is why I pull out the laptop right after an episode drop.

Truth. I love Love for Love’s Sake. I’ve seen it a ridiculous number of times. And Takara-kun & Amagi-kun is a staple for me (well over 50 rewatches). I also don’t think every drama needs a 70% build up before moving to the next step. Episode 1? If both consent (verbally or non-verbally), who cares? Now, it seems as if this person may not have seen Playboyy- THAT fits more in line with their description of throwing the plot out the window for NC scenes. Now if you want to talk non-consent with EXPLICIT NC scenes, that’s 100% Dangerous Drug of Sex. My oh my was that an…experience. But still with a pretty heavy message for viewers. NC scenes were abundant, but the plot was plotting too. Super sad for almost the entire movie. I was sad when it left Gaga.
