Though I absolutely loved this series, I was pretty confident that I’d never watch it again because of my ugly crying. Yet here I am 7 months later after seeing a random YouTube short… And once again I have ugly tears. This drama…
I only just don’t understand the last few minutes of Episode 8. But it’s all good because the rest of it was so worth the watch again. And the OST, especially Ruby’s Other Side hits deep. So perfect for this series. Seriously. Everytime I hear it, the tears start falling.
Though the ending isn’t necessarily a happy one, I think it’s worth watching.
I think we will get a HE since this series follow the book pretty closely except the mafia/usury + kidnapping…
You make sense because I’m hoping he turns back too because you’re so right that he is sprung in Ming, no matter what. He stepped in front of a bullet for him, after all. It’s just my delulu heart wanting the original body miracle. I know young Joe committed suicide, so he’s probably on his next life already. I just felt bad for him because his reason for that choice was his mom’s lack of acceptance of him.
Episode 11 strikes again…though, for some reason, I’m feeling delusionally optimistic about 12…
My delulu hope is that Joe’s decision will rewind time. But I honestly don’t know how this will play out because then no one learns anything and Ming is still his red flags self. Also, his original body is ash…what happened to the original owner of the new Joe?
I, like my fellow obsessed watchers, want this to end happily like KinnPorsche. How will they manage it? Will Ming go through a second grieving process? In my delulu mind, Joe gets his body back and a green flag Ming in the end. He deserves it. But then what was the point of the body swap-reincarnation? There’s a lesson he needs to learn? If so, what is it?
Another long wait. Thankfully, July is full of BL series to watch to occupy my mind every day (seriously, this month is crazy). But STILL…
The one stuggling here is Youngjoon, not Myeongkyun. Yj is making a big fuss about their flirting in the past,…
I see where you’re coming from with them. I got the impression that Youngjoon is just less reserved with his feelings and expressions and that Myeongkhuyn was more quiet and holds back. His comments during the private interviews is what had me leaning the way I did. I was thinking maybe they were as bad at communicating then as we saw them because they both thought the other wasn’t as interested and moved on. But Myeongkhyun said he likes Youngjoon. Is it as a person or more? I know he said Hanmin was his type too. And that’s who he called but they left it open like, he’s calling because he is interested in Youngjoon still, or he’s interested in Hanmin and wants to feel Hanmin out about his feelings. Or maybe both?
Regardless, I hope they both leave with positive feelings toward each other and the experience. Maybe even find the beginnings of ❤️.
now let's not downplay age gaps. age gaps are definitely something to think about when choosing a partner. a professional…
You’re right. I did say it was shallow. Then yes. I do believe dismissing someone you have a connection with just because of an age difference is shallow. Call that downplaying or whatever. My opinion is mine. Yours is yours. Isn’t it beautiful that we can have our own opinions and express them.
Side note, I’m not your sister in christ though. I don’t believe in god. I’m agnostic. Good chat though. Goodnight/morning.
....Is there a source where I can watch the special? Scoured everywhere I could think online and I can't find…
YouTube, but I couldn’t find English subs. It’s not really necessary unless you hope for Hai Qing and Yan Fei to get together…but don’t watch the last few minutes of ep 4 if you do.
Pin Jun realizes if you love someone, you have to let them go. He was feeling guilty, thinking he forced Hai Qing to stay (based on his dreams while in ICU) so he resolved to let him go to Yan Fei. But he didn’t stay. Instead, he chooses to go to America for 3 years. He only writes to Pin Jun after leaving. Since the director/writer leaves it up to the viewer, I’m going to believe he returns to Pin Jun instead of Yan Fei.
I really liked this when I watched it a year ago. And I still like it after rewatching. I don’t have the same anger for Hai Qing’s cheating that I thought I would. it’s like them meeting again was destiny, but all that happened was so Hai Qing could mature and realize the quiet, constant love Pin Jun gave him was what he needed and wanted. At least, this is how I will remember this series.
How do you know it’s not true? Placeholder dates here on MDL are usually trailer release dates or 0001 dates. Not dates in the future, from what I’ve seen. They wrapped up filming so it’s not too far fetched.
In any event, the actor said Jan 2025 so I’m gonna hope for then based on the source.
It’s listed above for the date aired. I don’t know if it’s true though. I do know it’s coming on Netflix though. Ryeoun did say in an interview it was coming Jan 2025, so I don’t know. 🤷🏽♀️ Dec/Jan…either way, I’m excited as hell!
