Title Derailment
Hmm I actually this drama completed a while ago and honestly felt quite healing to watch the drama. I know a lot ppl commented about the drama being not on par with the expectations but once you watch it till the end, you will understand why are their actions like that.

Don't want to spoil too much but just got to know that ML and FL is each other's savior in their most desperate times. It's actually a very interesting topic that drama used to portray how each character choose their path will affect their end result. Such as the protagonist's pov, she wants to escape pain and hardship and chose to hurt and bringing danger to everyone around her to achieve her goal.

Of course there are many flaws in the story especially with their "profession". Like I have some experience with Make-up and what Jiang Bo demonstrated on how to do the make-up look at the fashion show is a complete joke to me~ And I know many audiences still don't really like Liu Hao Cun due to her behavior and all but I do feel this character suited her and she did a fairly good job after taking up so many roles in movies which got too much criticism.

A rare drama that talks about reality and the need to face it because there is no such thing as free lunch in the world. Even those that we see them as privileged, they also have their own issues to settle.
On I Know I Love You Jan 24, 2024
Hahaha I know this drama has some resemblances to One Spring Night but got to say I actually enjoy this plot more! I mean I completed the entire drama knowing about the genre which I feel Zhang Wan Yi really suits such immoral personality and he did a great job portraying the character! I feel ppl kept comparing this drama to the Korean one but honestly, the plot is actually quite different and the decisions they made in the process. FL here is actually much more determined to go ahead with the ML after she gave chances to the ex which she realised it was all a joke after seeing the ex slyly planning to ditch her after so many chances...

Maybe due the culture differences, Korean one did seem more draggy due to the long push-and-pull even though it was only 16 eps. And 1 thing I realised is that Zhang Jing seem much more matured here as compared to Yoo Ji Ho that easily loses his temper even though both are younger guys.

Can I know what made you think about the male lead that he flirted with the 14 year old female lead?
Bruh, I wonder why there's always such fights whether ML's action is considered teasing or flirting... So it's cuz of ppl like you... I'm simply talking how they portray it in the drama... Small actions like touching FL's face with milk bottle and writings on FL's composition homework... To audiences it may seem like teasing but got to know FL's just completed puberty at her age which often times can mistook such gestures as the guy having interest in them. My bad, I miswrote the age. Was meaning to say when FL was older in high school not when she was 14.

Like I said I enjoy watching the drama but as I'm understand Mandarin and Chinese wordings, there are things I can see where the scenes added slightly different from the novel... Just want to share my view so this is gonna be my only reply.

Lol totally agree on the no stress part! But the stress came from Zhou Zheng and Geng Xiao Ting unexpectedly hahaha

Usually it's the 2nd leads that progress fast into couple but this drama did the opposite way~

Hmm I know many ppl rave about how sweet the couple is in the drama but how the ML flirted around FL when she was still a minor really isn't romance, more like trying to hook up young naive girls... Both actors look good in the characters and surprisingly Sang Yan also caught my attention lol.

Good drama to watch if you are in your clear mind and watching it just for entertainment, not a drama to watch if you truly think Duan Jia Xu's behaviour is ok. Just think about if some older good looking guy flirting with a 12-14 year old girl, would you still think is a ok action?
On Love Me, Love My Voice Jan 18, 2024
Like the story but not to the point that I will rewatch... It's a good drama for chilling which I enjoyed but plot is quite flat and largely on promoting Chinese culture and tourism to overseas fans. Hahaha maybe I'm too used to seeing Zhou Ye's usual not the good girl vibe, her acting in this drama kinda made me feel weird. I do agree with AvenueX on her review of this drama as there's really no ups and downs that makes dramas more interesting.

Still a good drama if you want to enjoy simple romance stuff :)

Super nice drama and officially a fan of the actors' performance XD Cinematography is no joke and really a big respect to the director that dare to use 2 actors that has so many scandals as MLs! Performance wise is definitely superb plus the fact that FL is so cute too! Finally not a FL that is pure love-minded :) Looking forward to S2!

Just completed this drama after such a long procrastination. Honestly it's one of better productions of 2023 and I really enjoyed it which actually changed my views of Cheng Yi. Previously the reason why I dragged on watching this drama is due to my impression of Cheng Yi's performances and repetitive characters after he gained fame from the pitiful ML in Love and Redemption... Li Lian Hua is definitely a character that gave him a different look to his usual works.

Story wise is rather well made and every character is distinctive which I enjoy the sly Li Lian Hua trying to con Di Fei Sheng when he lost some memories :)

Highly recommend to watch if you like mystery case solving and unexpected bromance!

Also the two sister literally defending each other 🤭🤭🤭 I love to see it. Ning acting all tough like she…
Hahaha I mean you can say that, I'm quite a fan of the chemistry of the characters but not really the story~ Basically rewatching for the feelings I felt from the chemistry itself lol

And you are very accurate on it, that villain/murderer turning into lovers kind of setting will never do well in most dramas these days even though I secretly hope for it to happen one day~

Hahaha can't agree more actually... I was literally psychoing myself to watch SGNS without thinking about how wonderful the original leads were in the 1st season, and truth be told, the 2nd season really isn't anywhere near a good drama... This is the first time ever I'm really crying over a villain! Ryu Shi Oh don't deserve such an ending with all the injustice he suffered all his life...

Hahaha gave me more reason to rewatch Strong woman Dong Bong Soon for don't know how many times~

On Story of Kunning Palace Dec 12, 2023
Finished the drama some days ago and to be really honest about it, the score of 8.8 is slightly above rating... I gave an 8 for the completeness of the story and they do have a ok story development and not to mention everyone look pretty good here :)

What I think didn't do so well for the story is more of the camera language used here such as the frequent use of "echoes" whenever they want to portray the character being angry and using a harsh tone in the conversation which it really got annoying for me as it's too predictable and unnecessary. If they used it in a mountainous/ huge empty space or as an effect to catch every passersby attention in a super crowded area then it would have made so much sense to it.

I like that they made effort with the styling which is nice and suits each character's personality well even though the 2nd last/last ep really caught me off guard when Jiang Xue Ning was crying and seeking revenge after her best friend died in the rain... Wah I was kinda panicking if the falsies and mascara are gonna get washed off from such a heavy rain hitting on the face~ Sorry just girls' things...

Another thing is the obvious loop holes especially in first ep where FL travelled back in time and woke in bed with the male friends. It's so weird Shen Jie just act as though he sees FL as 2 persons. In the scene where she slapped him as she thought she's being held by random guys, he clearly treated her like she's a guy but in another scene, he also acknowledged her as "Jiang gu niang" when they met up again... I felt a pity for Yan Lin too, he got so much scenes cut from the show just cuz of China's treatment on celebs with "misconduct"...

Overall it's an ok drama for me since I have watched many dramas over the years but of course for anyone watching for the celebs themselves, I think you will still enjoy them pretty good.

Haven't been giving my thought on dramas for a long while since there wasn't really good ones in this year to be really honest. Just want to give some appreciation to this drama's effort to produce a good story that reflects so much about our current society and how people views mental health around the world.

For me, medical and slow drama hasn't been my cup of tea but DDOS really captured me for the whole 12 eps! I didn't skip or speed through any parts and all the characters are just so captivating with their performance, I smiled and cried so hard along with the story as though I'm only person in the world. Really felt bad for people who has to go through mental illnesses even though they didn't wished for it and still have to bare the pressure of getting ostracized from the society...

Honestly I look up to nurses and respect them much more now after seeing what shit they have go through every single day. Kinda hating on the Korean Government policy for protest rights that often are abused by such incidents that either caused harm to the employees' job or those should have been held liable got away free from responsibilities...

Of course, I'm not everything shown in the drama is totally true to reality but at the end of day I really felt relieved and at peace reaching the final ep.
On My Journey to You Sep 27, 2023
Just completed the drama and to be honest is very GJM style, not saying it's bad or what but people who are into that "homme fatale" and dramatic relationship vibe would enjoy the story. I would say GJM does have an eye to specific good looking/ charming actors and actresses. Overall story about the suspense or spy genre is very superficial, you can enjoy this as more of a idol romance drama instead of what was marketed as.

The ending is very predictably messy as I kinda get the feel the director is looking into producing another season if this drama is well-received by the audiences.

Ahh thanks a lot for your explanation! I really got confused when I saw his initials as the director of this show like how in the world is he still in the industry after so much criticism from the Chinese netizens... Well I guess the Chinese entertainment industry is indeed lucrative so much that people just stick around no matter what happens.

Just a curious question, I thought Guo Jing Ming the director of this drama got banned in China due his plagiarism issues? How in the world did he managed to direct the drama when he is in such situation???
