True that!!! I’m literally watching the last episode now as I type, been hunting for dramas I can binge-watch…..…
haha the only drama I thought was really emotional and didn't regret watching was 25,21! Really cried many times, so many scenes reminded me of my teen days... Thanks for the recommendations! I have not really watched Secretary Kim actually because I was quite thrown off by the cliché plots~ But I think I will give it a try again :) Now I think I will watch Reset (c-drama) or maybe Master of my own too!
True that!!! I’m literally watching the last episode now as I type, been hunting for dramas I can binge-watch…..…
Hahaha I was feeling that too like having all genres in one drama! If you have a good drama recommendation pls share with me too! I'm currently getting over the emptiness from 25,21...
Hmm I finished the drama just today after binge watching for 3~4 days and honestly I really don't understand why are people criticizing this drama for being bad because the story was really fine for me. I was quite shocked at how many people actually said mean stuff and criticized the story like even those so called "drama reviewers" jumped on the bandwagon to add fuel to even more hate on the story...
Initially, I was really hesitant about watching since there was so many bad reviews about them thinking there must be big issues with the drama content. But I was so wrong! Though the drama has really predictable plots and odd comical moments, it didn't turn out as a disappointment to be very honest.
What I'm relieved about is the Krystal's acting here has became much natural and not so much rigidness but obviously she still has a lot to improve on. For Yoo In Young's character, I very much expected her character will progressed in this manner from a "very humble/lovable person to filled with jealousy kind of growth" but I really wished they didn't make her go in that direction. Kim Jae Wook definitely has no problems with his acting just that there is a lack of charm to his character...
I saw some said that they felt underwhelmed by the plot twist but really it was predictable to me since it's not full on suspense/thriller drama. The chemistry here is quite ok but not the best~ Well I mean what's important is all things end well and moving on. Recommended for people who needs some lighthearted dramas :)
The drama is complete nonsense, in the second series something happened that intrigued me, but then the feces…
Emm pls don't be offended but I really don't get why you are feeling like this and saying such mean things, honestly I've just finished watching and the story is really quite fine given that it's a rom-com "suspense" drama... Though I would say the plots are definitely predictable/somewhat cringey and nothing new. But if you are just into "beautiful" appearance then I mean so be it.
Yea I have yet to watch this because it is not on Netflix or Viu. Like how many subscriptions do I need to watch…
Just watch it on Dramacool, I'm only suggesting because many of the times these subscription sites earn so much of our money when they produce dramas similar quality of free streaming sites...
Thank you! Really want to put in my effort to give a complete review because it has been too long since there's a good F4 remake since the Taiwanese and Japanese versions!
How did people reached that conclusion? The grandmother/mother said she met him not long ago in the present days…
Err no what she did was right, she was saving him because BYJ didn't realize he was showing depression symptoms all this while. Her telling him to go receive therapy was a moment of realization for BYJ to know he could stop feeling sorry for always not keeping his promises to her as well as his own determination to give her the best things and actually receive treatment for his "suicidal thoughts".
Because you could see he did come back as much brighter and positive person when he returned to take the news anchor promotion. If you still feel she cuts off his lifeline, he would been dead by then and definitely not alive to return as an news anchor in the latter part. Please watch the scenes carefully before jumping to conclusion and both are living their own peaceful live not just NHD herself because BYJ was finally able to bring his family back together which was one of his top priorities...

Hi Johnnypeh41, thanks for writing back! My problem with the old HeeDo is that it makes her marriage somewhat…
Hi Hi! I don't know if you can understand but I'm feeling the father who didn't appear in the drama, he is more like a "figurehead" character that don't affect the story whether he is there or not. They just let you know this person exist but yet not important because she won't be able to lie about her marriage due the fact she was a very famous athlete and her wedding news was indeed made public that even the news people know about. Different people will have different interpretation but if you look at it simply, you will see the reason why current Hee Do keeps going back to the tunnel is that she does have some regrets over the break up even though she knows it's a correct decision and is married.
If they persevered their relationship back then, they would have been in a toxic relationship with BYJ's being consumed in his negativity while needing to climb further in his job to keep his promise with his family while being sorry for NHD all the time...
Hmm you mentioned that Kim Min Chae and current Hee Do was not needed in this drama but I can tell you, their parts are like bonus to link the past and present.
Current Hee Do though don't serve any development in character but she is the important closing point such that she could to move on from her yearnings for the past without looking back (after receiving the lost diary) as you could see she kept going back to the old tunnel road reminiscing her times with him...
For Kim Min Chae's part, I think it's a bonus addition from a daughter's POV who fears losing like many child athletes do to understanding her mum's achievements didn't come as easy as she had thought. And aren't many children just whiny when they are young in reality because they have not understood many things... Though I too feel it's a spoiler too right from her name but I'm ok with it.

Because a lot of Korean netizens started to think he may have committed suicide due to the fact that the drama hinted his depression symptoms during the 911 situation... And then on many people kept spreading speculations about it since the current Baek Yi Jin did not appear in any of the 2021 scenes.
I'm really angry at how the Korean and some international viewers jumping to conclusions before seeing the entire story when he did appear in the very last scene of ep 16...
Moon Lovers gave me a totally different vibe, for me it was a fairy tale with terrifically tragic ending. We knew…
Emm definitely no offence on your comment but the writers did gave a very clear explanation for the break up in a few of the scenes. After Baek Yi Jin developed depression/suicidal symptoms which he himself wasn't even aware of, that caused the big deciding factor for Na Hee Do to break up because she knows their relationship will no longer make it even if she and he persevered...
In one scene where BYJ called her telling his fears and thoughts of 911, NHD tried to console him thinking her mental support will get across to him but obviously it didn't. That's when she realized her words no longer helps him to overcome his problems.
Afterwards when BYJ was going to leave Korea for US, both of them met at the bus stop and NHD encourage him to get therapy to cope with his mental health in order to save him from his dwelling negative emotions. That's when BYJ realized about his "illness" and cried to tell her "let's stop putting each other through suffering" because he finally understood why they need to break up.
Though many viewers couldn't accept this reasoning but I really think it's very realistic and logical given their time period setting. Sometimes the ones we loved the most may not be who we marry in the end rather it's the person who is most suitable. Sorry for the long comment! Hope that clears your doubts on their break up!
he had some troubles as the comment above mentioned and also he has made a lot of controversial comments which…
Yup I know about it too but honestly this is just how the entertainment industry work... It's always like this like one day you see news of scandals of supposedly good reputation celebrity then next few days getting exposed as antis or even own agency staff/colleagues backstabbing their own celebrity... Like I mean it's quite fortunate many celebrities can stay sane minded in this kind of toxic environment~
My freind and i binged watched this drama yesterday and finished it in the night.... and honestly im still somehwere…
It's like what most of our elders always tell us... Love is not everything, the partner we marry may not be our most loved person but rather the most suitable~
The suicide theory is totally false! please watch till the end of ep 16 because he also appeared in 2015 time period where he and another colleague tried to sign in into his old account! He did not die please do not worry :)
I dont know if she gets any better, but Yurim is so annoying 🙄
Don't get annoyed with Yurim's personality just yet because she reasons for it and it will be explained in the latter half. She and Hee Do definitely became the best of friends like soul mates :)
Just completed the drama today and am currently feeling so empty after watching such a "emotional rollercoaster ride-like drama"... Honestly I won't say the ending is bad or what, I'd say it's a rather down to earth and realistic ending given the time period it was set in for the story.
A lot of viewers kept spreading unfounded rumors that Baek Yi Jin "committed suicide" due to growing depression symptoms but please watch closely in the scenes... He is not dead because if he did, it would have been a big news and Na Hee Do's daughter who read the diary would have known as well when she searched him up on the internet. In fact, it was implied in one scene when Hee Do encourage him to receive therapy when he's in the US showing that Baek Yi Jin wasn't aware he was showing depression symptoms... The moment he realized his mental issues and finally knowing why they should break up is when he cried and told Hee Do shall not put each other through suffering anymore. The current Baek Yi Jin is more like someone who is living in the memories of the diary though he did appear in 2015 period right at the end of ep 16!
I think it's a very true reflection of our lives and the society. I cried a lot when Yu Rim and Hee Do prepared a cake for the two friends who quitted school on the same day telling them it's a fresh start to their new live instead of what our society always telling young people like them that there is no future once they gave up what they have been doing.
Highly recommended to watch and I really love all the casts' chemistry and the completeness of this story!
he had some troubles as the comment above mentioned and also he has made a lot of controversial comments which…
Hahaha I mean his controversial comments are mostly his vocal thoughts of how he thinks of women and looks which I think it's a "normal" mentality in this messy entertainment circle. So many celebrities act like they are nice/approachable people when in fact they are quite a messed up person in reality... Just my opinion and hope he can be a better person as he grows older.
