It's a really good story tho... Maybe you didn't get the idea that it was supposed to be a diary when all of it suddenly became real and I don't think anyone will be able to accept your character being real in such a short time. It's not really a drag if you get what the story is telling but well everyone got their preference so I'm not going to urge you to watch

For duan sui liu and dragon lady, they actually got reunited on a desert back in babylonia:) And for Mu Rong Jie Lun and Ou Yang Wen Shan's true ending is in the extra episode "番外“ ！ It was super hilarious towards the end because all of them suddenly got reunited when both the female leads almost gave up hope!
Ok so I finished this drama quite some time ago but I rewatched it again last week! My review is for anyone wondering if the drama is good or not and I want to give big thumbs up for the story and characters! Overall, the story is very unique as its about a female coroner wanting to get her certification. Wang Zi Qi and Su Xiao Tong is really the most hardworking people that I have seen in dramas! Everyone are literally working day and night to crack a case and there are a lot of details which I totally appreciate. Although this drama may not be a thing for the younger fans but I really learnt a lot from this drama particularly about the ancient society and especially about the coroners! There are many comedic and serious moments and it's quite heavy on crime solving, so if you are into this genre please give a try!

nope the ML is pretty good at his role! Although he is not like the typical straight in your face handsome but his charm really grows on you as the story goes on! Hope you watch because it's a rare good drama with good story plot:) For your info, the pace is not draggy and the story goes quite fast especially towards the end.
