Well, if the ending is happy or sad apparently depends on your perspective as a viewer - if you look at discussion…
Thank you so much for your detailed reply! Now I get it why there are so many mixed reactions with the ending. Generally I do feel it's a logical ending because the Novoland series have no "happy" endings up to date which was why I'm fearful of getting another similar ending like the other ones in the series!
Hi any kind soul can spoil me the ending? I'm currently at ep 35 now and the plot didn't seem like it's going into a bad ending like what was written in the original novel. I really hope for a relatively happy ending to end on a good note!
Thats the one that disappoint me so much XD, I started with season one, so I really see Zhang Qiling as a pokerface,…
Sorry for adding a late comment here but you should see Xiao Yu Liang's version of Xiao ge! He really capture the essence of the role and really good with his fight scenes!
Really great drama and the story gets better as it goes! Quite a big plot twist at final episode as it is supposed to have another season which we wouldn't know when it will release. I'm just quite surprised that this drama uses almost the same background music as Joy of life~ Overall casts are not well-known or A-list but they really fit in with their characters and story plot is not the brainless type like many dramas that aired this year.
Err Ok I assume you are not a Asian Chinese? Meaning of Koi in our Asian culture and particularly for the Chinese and Japanese, means bringing Luck and Fortune in our believe. It is not just decoration at home because of the fish's beautiful appearance but rather to bring luck especially for people who has businesses. So I think the meaning of this drama is holding onto the husband who may be a really lucky person in unexpected situations.

Lol me too!!! I want to know what they actually said too like the hidden dialogues from Word Of Honor^^ Hahas it's really alright, not a problem for me, glad that you were able to understand some of the contents from the extra!
Still watching the drama and I get a good vibe for the story overall. Though it is not focused on the working environment, we do see a lot of the unspoken rules that all of us had to follow even in reality. Casting and clothing quality is much better than most contemporary dramas out there.
Nice vibe for the drama overall. Ok please ignore all the cheap props and clothing worn by the FL and I think it will be enjoyable to watch! Though the script was not well written for the side characters, both the main leads really play it well to cover for the lacking parts.

Erm in my honest opinion, I feel that the 2nd couple do have the chance to get together. I'm just judging from one of the scenes, when Ou Yang Wen Shan was introducing Mu Rong Jie Lun to his game shown on the TV. He actually chose to stay at the entry level of the game because he love that starry night scenery in the game so much. To which I think Jiang Hui Zhen also got the hint that it is still him but not entirely him anymore. I would say the ending is really fitted with the moral of the story. The message all along for this drama is for them to move on from their lingering for the past and accept the people/changes in the new future.
Omg another Yu Zheng production... Not saying I had issues with him but I have no confidence with his way of adaptations and his castings. Some are good but some are really bad!!! Someone please tell an honest review if the drama is really worth watching after completing the drama^^

Oh no prob, I know you and many other fans of the drama had trouble understanding without the subtitles. So I'm just trying to help as much as possible.
- Regarding your question on dubbing, if it was true that it is over dubbed then I think their conversations should have been related to their "past" relationship for the extra. You know China Gov does not acknowledge on superstitions of reincarnation/spiritual stuff so obviously it will not pass censorship.
- In the extra, the ML definitely looked at Mei Ru like the "old" him which I feel he probably sensed an old familiarity with her even though he has no memories at all.
- Mandarin is my second language so I had no issues watching c dramas w/wo subtitles. Answering your confusion, Jiang Hui Zhen beat up Ou Yang Wen Shan because she was so shocked and unable to accept her old lover who was such a rich and mature/dignified person actually became such a childish dude. During the fight, she was actually trying to make him tear off the his "face" because she had a mental breakdown looking at the face she loved and wanted to see again so much. In one of the dialogue if I remembered correctly, she said "you are not worthy of that face" and started tearing again. And ya the "fight" continued because Ou Yang Wen Shan kept calling her old lady making her even more furious^^
I feel like the male lead didn't have the potential for the role of a blind man, if you observe his scenes, you…
Yup I figured that out from his previous roles. Though he is really good looking and has that voice that audiences love, I do hope he can brush up on his acting techniques/expressions. I felt he was either a bit stiff/under expressed for some of his roles.
OK so I finished the drama and I want to say that I was slightly disappointed with how it progressed. The first few episodes were definitely good but the development of most characters got draggy into the last 10 episodes... Not saying it is bad or what but I think the drama did not portray the novel adaptation to its utmost potential. Kim Yoojung and Ahn Hyoseop are definitely good looking here but I do feel Ahn Hyoseop's acting can be more expressive in terms of his character personality. Personally I think it was a bit cringe watching him in some scenes. And the most important thing is that the paint goblin (Hwacha) actually has a significant part in the story but his scenes are certainly too little as well as the gods in the drama.

ohh okay I get it why you are so confused. The attraction I was talking about is when all of them were having an argument in Ou Yang Wen Shan's house and Mu Rong Jie Lun tried to protect Chen Mei Ru out of instinct and ended up sitting on her lap. So from there Mu Rong Jie Lun actually asked for her name shyly to which he actually did not show his interest in her in ep 24. I think the scriptwriters really play it well on their interactions.
Ok this is honestly the best competitive variety show that I watched by far! Most of those like Produce 101 or youth with you, I literally dropped within the 2 episodes... There is literally the least drama and small actions within the show and just pure goodness of concerts and friendships!!!

I feel in a way is that Chen Mei Ru and Jiang Hui Zhen kind of let go of that "obsession" to find the original "them" and accepted the new "them" in the current period. Though the guys don't remember anything anymore, they are still attracted to the same woman. If not Ou Yang Wen Shan would have avoided Jiang Hui Zhen with all his might instead of asking her to repay him and meeting each other even more. Can be thought as a sad ending for some viewers but I do feel that is just life that most of us had to go through.
