About antagonist and the ending. It has spoilers. Please open at your caution.

Mo Yuanzi as antagonist wasn't selfish or just evil... he was selectively both, depending on what benefited him in the moment. And that kind of hypocrisy makes him worse than someone who is openly rotten. At least with a purely evil character, you know what you are dealing with.
With him, even when he is trying to do something “right,” it rings hollow because you can’t trust his intentions. The second it stops serving him, he will go back to making the most destructive choice possible.

Some might argue that he committed all those crimes to save WanQing, but deep down, he must have known the battle was lost. His love becomes more of an obsession, a convenient smoke screen for his actions, so he can convince himself he isn’t guilty. I wouldn’t even call him morally grey because he is not.
And the finale... they tried to make me sympathize with him, but the snake doesn’t shed its skin that easily.

And then there is this mentor of his Jiang Yi Jun... I feel no sympathy for him either. The idea of using real people as test subjects when you already know the flaws in your research isn’t just cruel, it’s reckless. It shows a complete disregard for human life, all in the name of freakin' ambition.

About Ending :
They did leave a thread open for season 2 but again did we REALLY need it ??!!

Lol I checked my excel gave the same 7.75 rating but rounded to 8 on MDL.

I do agree it's a very basic one but I enjoyed their height difference. Lmao very adorable 😁

I live for a good banter and Prince Saenkaew with Sasin absolutely delivered. The whole “Rabbit” nickname thing is adorable and cute.

All the chance encounters are such a cliché, but they still land almost 100% for now like that curtain almost kiss and the inevitable falling on each other was funny . Lmao.

I like how comfortable they are with each other already without even realising!

The only thing that bothered me a bit was acting. But nothing too distracting!

Pin is genuinely very cute. She has this sweet and harmless vibe and I really hope she stays positive throughout. I don't want her to be the cliche female villain in BL dramas.
I see her and Sanya making a cute couple! I find him very handsome *_*

Period dramas always make me a little critical of the settings, but here the leads’ chemistry is carrying the entire show with ease. There is a political angle brewing in the background and I only hope it does not overpower the romance. This is more like a personal preference!

All the adults except grandmother are trash. I see redemption arcs of Rabbit's father but Pin's side of the family is just greedy pigs. I mean how can her father let that lady treat her daughter like that !! *smh*

Overall, I do like the first two episodes and I am looking forward to the next! ^.^
It did take a while to develop my interest but once both the leads meet, it is easy on the eyes , plus a few laughs here and there.

We already know that the loops don’t just reset Ding Qi’s actions but they also shift depending on the choices and circumstances of the people around him in the case.
Loop 2, Day 2 made that especially clear that the outcome changed not simply because of what Ding Qi did, but because the others involved reacted differently too. That ripple effect...I think that is why the loops don't feel boring.

Also loved the bond between Ding Qi and the boss. I like how he or no one ever questions his judgement and in every loop just trust his words.
The confused expression on Boss's face kills me everytime 😂

Also, I really liked the delivery man’s story. They only touched it for a moment, but it hit hard. With this whole online circus of “10-minute delivery” getting more and more ridiculous atp, it felt so real. Maybe it’s just me projecting, but I am glad they showed it. Fingers crossed Ding Qi saves him in the next loop, because that guy deserves better.

Now, about the romance... lmao yes, I joked about it earlier, but I have to admit the eye contact wasn't subtle but I would rather the story not lean too heavily on romance. We absolutely don't need it here.

And An Lan is too involved in this loop???!!! I am getting concerned. I don't think she is the squid, but ...

Overall, the more loops we get, the more intriguing the story is becoming. That said, I do hope this particular case wraps up soon... 🤞🏻
