I was not planning on watching this but after reading the review I am sure I will not watch it 😂

Everyone consumes drama differently. Just because you connected with a scene doesn’t mean it’s some universal truth everyone else has to agree with. The fact that it didn’t land for me doesn’t make my opinion wrong, it just makes it DIFFERENT.

For me, that scene was overly dramatic and had zero emotional impact. That doesn’t mean I didn’t get it, it's just didn’t hit the way it did for you. So maybe let’s stop acting like people are “missing the point” just because they’re not reacting exactly how you want them to. Respect goes both ways.

I have seen protests where people sing to make a statement... to emphasize their points in an artistic way. But this was giving “broadway dress rehearsal” more than grassroots resistance. Like sure, sing your truth... but with background piano and everything fancy AND OUT OF NOWHERE???!!!

I was and not convinced.

Then they should advertise it like that 🤣 the tone shifting always pulls me out ...

It gave strong “Elsa singing her trauma while the kingdom burns” energy. So Disney-coded and not in a good way 😭💀

And Khanin singing his way through addressing the protest!!! OMFG. That was unhinged musical theatre core and I was NOT ready for it 🤡🤣

Thoughts on first 4 episodes -

✨ The leads have beautiful chemistry. It’s not flashy or overly romantic. It's kinda awkward but in the sweetest way possible. They are just so gentle with each other.

✨ Reina as the antagonist actually works for me but the SML Tomoya unfortunately lacks depth. While the Korean version made him frustrating and I despised him from the start, this version rendered him more of a background noise , almost comic relief but not in a good way. Very airheaded.

✨ The pacing of the story overall works really well for me. So far, it doesn’t feel rushed and it gives enough time for the characters to breathe.
Plus, the cinematography is absolutely beautiful. There is a soft, understated aesthetic to it that gives it that signature Japanese drama touch I personally like. That scene with umbrella though told me that it's adapted from korea 😂

So far, I am all sat and intrigued on how this is gonna go and after the last scene in ep 4 ... I need ep 5 asap! 🔥

As someone whose favourite genre is medical dramas, this came as a treat. Lol I remember binging it in 1 night ! ✨✨

In the later episodes,it was clear that it was yes. But in the initial eps i thought the ML came off as little too strong 😅

I wish he was more in the plot to add substantial depth.

But if I am being honest I enjoyed their love short a little more than hosu and miji 🙈

I did try to use the categorise style but I always messed up and sticked to paragraphs 🤣

Like you mentioned, lol it's Main lead, second leads and supporting cast and that's the whole issue with the drama.

Honestly idk how I feel about it though

I agree with most of it except how the characters were written. It felt like the show got too fixated on a select few while completely ignoring the rest. Honestly, some of those sob stories could have been skipped and instead, we could have gotten more development in the present. Or if they really wanted they could have given us more. Idk 🤡😭

That said, this season was just… something, I guess. 😅 I know I sound a bit harsh, but I really did have high expectations. 😭
