Had I not had much expectations I would have rated it a 7 maybe but the downfall in second half was just disappointing!

Mr. White lotus (lol) is an interesting character and I want to see how he bring choas to the table 🍷😂 Also I have a feeling he will be Engima because as soon as they talked about it, the scene switched to him sitting in the black robe. And also like you said, alpha x alpha might be boring... But let's see.

Thoughts on first 3 episodes -

I really liked how they kicked things off with the whole Alpha-Omega setup. I love when fictional universes go all in to build their own rules even if it’s nowhere close to realistic or logical by our standards.

Character-wise, no one is who they seem. Not even close.
Gao Tu, Mr. Secretary...this man had my full attention the moment he stepped in. I am so invested in his arc already. He is so handsome. I can'ttttttt....

The rest are walking red flags as I expected. Some are subtle about it… others are practically waving those flags in your face from the get-go. 😂

The White lotus LMAO (the synopsis says not me), he is indeed “beautiful,” and lol they weren’t kidding… man’s practically glowing with all that white makeup. 🤣 100% my red flag in disguise. Lol the shit stirrer and I am absolutely here to watch his pretty little chaos unfold. Love me good grey characters... 🔥

And then we have got the two “Alphas”, not surprised at all that they are already butting heads. Honestly, I expected a bit more thinking between the two, but lol we can’t have it all. xD

The chemistry between Hua yong and Shao You is pretty evident! 🔥🔥
Though we didn't see much of our second couple, I am excited to see how their story plays out.

So far, it’s not exactly screaming brilliance, but I was thoroughly entertained. The start does intrigue me and I am sat!

Coming to Ben and Sasin, I agree there screentime was very less. I always thought the writers didn't think they would grow so popular or they knew what they were doing lol. But I enjoyed their story despite just getting crumbs compared to the leads. 😅

Beautiful review and I agree with everything you said! I ended up binging six eps too which is rare for me, especially with Kdramas being so long 😅 But this one really pulled me in. Every character felt like they had something meaningful to offer and nothing felt like filler.

I do wish Sejin and Mirae had gotten a bit more screen time though. Compared to Miji and Hosu, their story felt a little underdeveloped, even though they were absolutely adorable 🥰

But overall, this was such a lovely watch. So glad you enjoyed it too ♥️
