Theories based on ep 15,16 and preview of 17!

My theory after watching this week’s episode:

✨ Chi Cheng and Wang Shuo (the ex) were in a relationship.
✨ Wang Shuo was jealous of Chi Cheng and Chengyu’s friendship.
✨ He told Chi Cheng that he and Chengyu slept together… and Chengyu just went along with that lie for year.

I think Chengyu kept quiet all this time because he knew about Wang Shuo’s bipolar disorder. Maybe?

And then we have got Wang Shuo’s older brother, who is currently stirring up drama between Wei Wei and Chi Cheng. Also I feel he was brought to play to bring out Wang Shuo’s medical history.

So yeah, to answer summarise, ummm no I really don’t think Chengyu and the ex actually slept together. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unpopular opinion: Lmao that drunk kiss between Chi cheng and Cheng yu was hotter than doc and Chengyu. 😭😭

The water bed scene... I have seen the BTS and I am suprised they actually cut it... I understand production decisions but it did look a bit abrupt. They could have done better with the editing.

But I am still liking this drama and I am all sat for it !! 🔥🔥

The problem here was the tone was very different in first 4 or 5 eps and then somehow it started becoming one man show.

I really like Bogum too and I think he did a great job with acting, but the problem here was the disjointed writing...

I do agree. I felt like that then realised that is how his character is. And in last ep when he and Misa were sulking, lmao he had expressions on point. So I don't think I had an issue with the acting front :))

I definitely enjoy the drama and imo it's a good bingeable package! 🔥

It had that perfect japanese flair and I am glad Kdrama makjang was left behind 🤣

With that, I would for sure recommend not even looking at the Korean version and just watching this one. It’s better in almost all areas. >> THE TRUTH 🔥🔥

Four main leads truly felt like real people rather than exaggerated caricatures of cliche tropes (as they did in the Korean version) >>> The way the antagonists were humanized but still got what they deserved was something I really liked. I actually liked crazy Reina towards the end😂 The whole Ferris wheel scene proved she was a human and a vile one!

Considering how much I raved about it during the first 6 episodes, yeah… it definitely took a disappointing turn.
