Day 365247 of me wishing this was a 16 episode drama because THERE IS SO MUCH I WANNA KNOW and not enough time. When you have such rich characters, you can just as easily devote an entire episode to unpacking each of their pasts, their present aspirations and obviously where they're headed. I want to know all about how our grifter squad came to be in a proper episode dedicated to them and not just a quick five minute flashback. I wanna know all about the "uncle" and Grace, heck, I even wanna know more about Hye Rin, because even she is presented as more than just a catty bully. I want an episode all about Dong Hee, she's arguably the smartest member of the Bok family, I wanna know how each of the Bok family members first experienced their powers (we kinda saw Gwi Joo's). Now this is me being a nerd but I want an episode all about the Bok family lore, the very first ancestors who had superpowers, how they manifested, the implications etc. I love this drama so much it's ruining my life hahaha.

Da Hae doesn't get enough credit for how much she's (consciously and unwittingly) turned the Bok family's lives around for the better. I guess the only person not directly impacted by Da Hae is Dong Hee but the presence of Grace makes up for that. Someone in the comments mentioned finding the dad sus but I think he's not. I think he plays the same role that Da Hae has kind of naturally come to assume, the normie (affectionate) who keeps the heroes grounded and functional and at their best. His conversation with Gwi Joo about past ancestors having someone like that around makes me certain about his role in the family. it's no small role, and yes, although the Bok family was running on fumes prior to Da Hae's arrival, whatever was left of it was being managed by him. In this sense I think he's severely underrated and I hope we get to see more of him and his wife's interactions. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

I could be wrong but I think MDL updates the actors here as they appear in each episode, he's probs only mentioned up till episode 6 because that's how many episodes have aired so far. they'll definitely update everything as each new episode airs

I Na and Da Hae have become my favourite dynamic because of how there's no lies between them. Each sees through the other perfectly and in a twisted way is also cheering the other person on even if what they might be doing isn't ideal. They would totally be ride or die besties in another life

WELL SAID! that's what she is at this point in time, an object of hope for him. he always talks about her in relation to either everyone else in life (e.g I Na) or his powers. Yes, it is all very affectionately said but it's clear how he feels, I mean he said it himself, he'd LIKE to fall in love with her.

I was weeping for him throughout the episode. He wants to improve himself so bad and I really hope whatever is about to happen now doesn't derail him from his goal for too long.

this drama better win some award cuz episode six was just peak everything: storytelling, cinematography, sound design, dialogue
literally deserves a full length breakdown on the nuances of so many interactions that happened in this ep (Da Hae and the dad, I Na and Da Hae, Da Hae's "uncle", even just the final short exchange between Da Hae and Gwi Joo's mom). I'm not even gonna talk about the interactions between the two leads cuz my heart broke at every single one and WE'RE NOT EVEN IN ROMANCE TERRITORY YET 😭 I am losing my mind thinking of how it'll be when (if?) we even get to that.

NGL I really wanted more 7 and 8 interactions cuz they were both so well matched intellectually and her insanity complemented his logic and reasoning so well.
