FL freaking out is so cute, if it wasn't for the bitch fake mother she would have run away a long time ago
she's such a baby girl I love her, she knows she's at a disadvantage here but never stops fighting like you go girl, run away in your high heels to avoid confronting the man you wanted to chase after you in the first place lmao
so real, I sometimes find myself on the verge of falling into a similar people pleasing pattern (despite being…
yesss, being lonely in your formative years sucks because you end up deprived of affection and not considering yourself worthy of it unless you're giving something in return
it's the fact that I understand why bok Ina is behaving this way..(doing anything to have so called friends or…
so real, I sometimes find myself on the verge of falling into a similar people pleasing pattern (despite being like 10 years older than her) and have to remind myself to stop. I Na is relatable AF.
so, I'm writing this as someone who studied filmmaking, but every single frame of a medium is supposed to have intention behind it. whether it is through the framing of the camera, multiple angles, music, filters and most importantly, the performance of the subjects. If the viewer is objective they will feel exactly how the director intended for them to feel.
if you watch the scene again, there's very few beats, and everything is very static and detached. heck, just as the kiss gets deeper, they plaster the big yellow show credits all over it, cutting it abruptly short. this is to imply as obviously as possible, that this kiss was not romantic in nature.
I hope so too, because for me this is just a cop out and bad writing to justify why the main leads NEED to get…
omg thank you for sharing, I'm also on the ace spectrum but demiromantic. But yes, the amount of times I've seen such insane comments is crazy and it irks me to no end.
I hope so too, because for me this is just a cop out and bad writing to justify why the main leads NEED to get…
people's obsession with (implied) virginity will never stop being uncomfortable to me but it's also hilarious AF like surely, you can't expect this grown ass man (or anyone for that matter) to have lived a life of abstinence.
I hope so too, because for me this is just a cop out and bad writing to justify why the main leads NEED to get…
you said it so well, and I was just thinking about this too. kdramas have this thing where you can only ever have one perfect love. if your love failed in the past due to whatever circumstances, it was also characteristic of the failures of the previous partner's personality.
it is obvious that they're afraid of anyone outshining the designated lead love interest role but imho it would be so much more interesting if that weren't the case. like we already made progress with I Na being Gwi Joo's fully biological daughter and not an adopted one, niece etc. now why not take it a step further and not throw dirt on his dead wife too? surely, that's not too much to ask lmao.
I've also noticed that couples that don't have strong sexual tension get accused of lacking chemistry. Whereas…
I think that probably has to do with MDL's user base. If we look at the kind of dramas that are the most popular here + the general age range, it is very apparent how young most of the user base is, or at the very least, incredibly traditional when it comes to drama consumption tastes. not saying correlation implies causation, but that's just my crude observation after 6 years on the site. Whatever is an anomaly, or atypical (lmao) doesn't really sit well with MDL audiences usually.
I honestly wish people would elaborate on what they mean when they say people have no chemistry or what they are…
I may be jumping to conclusions here so I'll say this is only my own opinion but from what I've seen, the Venn diagram of commenters hating on the FL initially and those now saying that there's no chemistry between the couple is almost a circle lmao.
i think gwi joo's mother is lying about gwi joo's wife having another man's child. like why didn't she say anything…
I hope so too, because for me this is just a cop out and bad writing to justify why the main leads NEED to get together.
like it would be easier for him to fall for someone else if he knew his wife was cheating. I hate that so much and I really hope it is not the case. that's not the foundation I want for our leads' relationship.
I'd rather the writers let him grieve and move on and end the drama on an open ending instead if it feels natural I literally don't care. but please don't rush the romance by throwing dirt at dead people gosh.
I found some of the OST composer's music on YouTube and it's just as eerie and interesting as you'd expect https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-JrCrEQ48THyhPzQ3Nvqpg
I am in love with how... atypical the lead couple is, everything they do is unique and yet they're also so attuned to each other? Gives me butterflies every time

also loved the very meta post credits scene
