I agree that the plot is not realistic. The most basic issue with this show is that Taishin's behaviour is unhealthy…
I love this response and đź’Ż agree with your well thought out and articulate thought process. 8th Sense is a excellent example of someone from a rural environment, learning and evolving. Thank you for this.
What a lovely episode. Isumi is such a delightful character - deep, thoughtful and kind. That has to go down as the loveliest, most respectful rejection I've ever heard.
“A person of a certain age should be walking or having sex?” Did you actually read back what you typed? Your sentence makes no sense.
This isn’t about sex. Quite the opposite. Re-read my post. Their relationship has nothing to do about sex. This I love about the drama. I’d suggest you need to grow up and digest what I posted.
I can understand your passion in wanting realism but the writer chose to express her work in a more simple and…
Bobby. Let’s return to what this forum is for. A drama. Not a fan base. It’s about discussing a drama - positive or negative respectfully. I rest my case.
I can understand your passion in wanting realism but the writer chose to express her work in a more simple and…
Ha. You make me laugh. You make me laugh a lot. I’m here to critique a drama, so your narrative, if not about the drama is lost on me.
I find myself bored by your narrative. I don’t need to take a “chill pill” because my energy is chilled and eloquent when being honest about how I view a drama. Something you need to learn. I suggest you grow up. #JustSayin’

Why do you need to call me Mary? That alone makes me laugh out loud. I'm definitely not what in your brain considers a Mary, whatever that is. I love people having an opinion of my opinions. However, I find yours beyond, beyond childish.
Adult depictions! Look at my Watchlist. I do adult. This is not what I'm here for. I adore Japanese BL's. No one...and I mean no one writes like the Japanese. They write and tell stories like no other culture. I adore their writing. However, this series is seriously lacking. The flow. The narrative. The dialogue. The writing of the depiction of our leads - all are subpar, in my mind, naturally, not everyone's thoughts.
Suck it up Bobby. Suck it up. Not everyone thinks like you and I'd like to think most of us don't feel the need to be rude in our analogy.
What makes you think Taishin is in his mid-20s? He has just started studying, which means he should be 18. He…
Age. Age. Age. Why does it appear that Asian peeps are so fixated by age? Honestly, why? I don't give a fuck about age. Love is love. We love who we love. FACT. My ex was 12-years younger than me. Damn, we loved. Everyone felt it. My current is 6-years older than me. Love. Love, Love.
I hear you on the rural upbringing - massively. However, It's a fact. You can be naive, but a man's natural instinct is to at times feel horny and wank. Blue balls springs to mind.
Yes, I hear you and spot on in why Takara likes Taishin. I agree with your thinking here.
However, for me, this is not a realistic plot, by way of how humans act and interact in a relationship. For instance, why would you call your boyfriend "Senior" and not his name? This is where we have to respectfully agree to disagree. However, I like the fact that we understand each other others perspectives.
I myself thought several times that rather than naive Taichi seems to be an alien who knows absolutely nothing…
Hilarious analogy, which made me laugh out loud. Thank you for the laughs🙏🏾He really doesn’t know anything about life, to the point where I find the writing totally unbelievable.
You might not wrap your head around it but there are people out there that are like this. I was extremely sheltered…
What a lovely, heartfelt response. Thank you. I so love that you were courageous enough to share your experience from your viewpoint. And, I hear you. Beautiful indeed. 🙏🏾❤️

Child. And you are a child from your response, which actually made me laugh out loud. This is a forum to critique a drama, both positive and negative. However, what you didn’t do is respectfully take onboard my comments, irrespective of the fact they didn’t mirror your own. Mary? Really? What are you actually saying? To me, you just come across as rude. Unintelligent and childish. #Hilarious. Thanks for the laugh.
I'm really struggling with this drama. I find Taishin's character beyond pitiful. I simply can't wrap my head around the fact that a grown arse man in his 20's can be so very naive about life. I don't find it endearing and find myself going ugh! Really! The majority of times he delivers his lines. Why did the writer feel the need to constantly have him repeat every sentence someone says to him? I feel they've taken his naivety too far. His character goes way beyond the saying of "a rabbit caught in the headlights" and I find myself questioning why someone like Takara would be attracted to him in real life. Yes, I love his eyes. Yes, I do consider him handsome. Yes, I like his direct honesty and understanding of Takara's personality at times lovely - quirky springs to mind. However, it ends there.
I need some semblance of realism in my dramas. There is absolutely no way a teenager or indeed a man in his 20's wouldn't be wanking like a fiend, irrespective of the fact they haven't had sex, or not ready for sex. I get this. What this tells me is the writer is a woman, who really doesn't understand or wants to truly depict the realism of men at this age. She's writing for teenage women and I think she's done it badly.
This episode opened with Takara asking Taishin if he'd like to come over to his place. Nice I thought. However, what was the point of that whole scene? What we got was Taishin organising the rubbish. So a lost opportunity of what actually happened beforehand (making dinner together perhaps, chatting in harmony with each other - getting to know each other better) and then we have a lovely moment of Taishin sitting on Takara's lap, with him asking him to stay over and wear his clothes. Only to cut to the morning with Taishin saying breakfast is ready! What the actual fuck?! What a missed opportunity to showcase their growing relationship. What were you thinking writer?!
I dropped this drama at EP 5 and thought I'd give it one last chance and watched EP 11., as I do like Mos and Bank and feel they have potential.
What an utter mess. I felt like I was watching a high school play, delivered by teenagers who are learning to act. The writing of this show is seriously, seriously bad, there is no flow, no clear narrative, no storytelling and the delivery by the actors, honestly, appalling. I found myself astounded by the acting of the support female. Her delivery is truly dreadful. She overacts and over reacts constantly, with the simplest of lines.
It's a 1/10 for me and I won't be watching the final episode.
BigToe69 and Mistyforest, they are very childish, block everyone who has a different opinion than you ? cowardice…
Exactly. These children also blocked me for my comment to them. Made me laugh, as they lack eloquence and a factual dialogue to put their points across. Funny as fuck.
What a beautifully and thoughtfully written drama. I feel the researcher did an excellent job researching how it honestly feels to be a deaf person in an un-death world. I'm learning and absorbing those feelings like a sponge.
I find myself mesmerised every time Kohei smiles or laughs, simply because those smiles happen oh so rarely and each time I find myself captivated and smiling,
This is lovely. This is lovely thought-provoking viewing.
This Cosmic lady keeps blocking people so we dont see her stupid posts , why are you so scared when people talks…
Yes. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same people. I don't understand why these cowards don't take their banal rhetoric directly to the Director and Network, instead of spouting the same narrative on this forum over and over again. Honestly, at this point, they must be boring themselves.

I responded to BigToe69, not to post disinformation and received a notification that they'd responded to me, yet couldn't view, which from this thread, I now realise that the coward blocked me! Hilarious!
