But after all they're still humans and have feelings my aunt herself got married to her teacher and now they're…
That's a good point of view you have. :)

Person Lee Dong Wook
I felt the same when I started Goblin i wasn't for me.. But I just skipped and watched his scenes only and OMG…
I think I would enjoy Goblin for its bromance and comedy but the romance part would most likely be the opposite from what I've seen and heard. I might give it a try though because I agree, his acting is indeed brilliant. Still need to complete Tale of the Nine Tailed because I got into a drama slump a bit. ^^'

I feel the same way, but I love the actresses Choi Ri and Hong Ji Yoon from other dramas already and feel also…
Take your time. I totally understand that emotions about him are still fresh. I'm relieved I did not see him in any drama before so he's a stranger to me, this makes it easier once I'll watch it.

I really don't have the gut to watch this anymore, especially after knowing the disgusting stuff he did.
I feel the same way, but I love the actresses Choi Ri and Hong Ji Yoon from other dramas already and feel also wrong to throw away the effort they put in. It's not their fault that he's an idiot. I will watch it for them I think.

This is a great and really helpful article! Thanks!Do you happen to know if there's any side where you can watch…
Thank you for reading it. :)
So far you can't watch Border Town Prodigal completely with english subs because they were previously dropped by Viki and picked up from Purple Text (former Purple Translations https://purple-text.tumblr.com).
The current status is 37/50 episodes subbed (available on Subscene) and no update since November 2020.

I don't know of any official source where you could watch them with subs. You can find it english subbed up to episode 32 on dramacool, you can download ep 33-37 there and play them on a video player offline with the downloaded subs.

Thanks for this article, Old_Anime_Lady. Very informative. :)
I'm looking forward to the rollout of Club9 and subscribed to his channels.
Became a fan of him while watching Code Blue and plan to watch the majority of his other dramas and the miniseries The Head (2020). Hope we'll get to see him in many more interesting roles and series/movies.

its ready on kissasian guys https://ww2.kissasian.ai/drama/aoki-vuanpaia-no-nayami-episode-1
We should not watch it on illegal sites like kissasian but from the subber who went through the effort to make the subs (Ichihachi Subs - https://www.ichihachisubs.com/aoki). kissasian is only stealing them.

Congrats to your first article! It's very well written and I loved reading about the different characters and why they became your favorite. I haven't watched this dramas and right now I need to clear my watchlist as it's too huge already so I'll pass for now even though it's tempting. ;D
My current favorite is Ye Zhao from Oh My General, I liked the concept of a female general/warrior and prefer strong female leads in dramas. Hope to see a part 2 of this article and many more articles from you. Please stick to writing. :)

I can relate to this, I also stopped watching many dramas but I didn't knew about dropping that time. Haha I've…
NDD is a something I merely suffer from when I want to use a drama for the watch challenge and are at least halfway through. That's why I still stick to True Beauty even though I think it's worth dropping. xD

Very good and interesting article. :)
I think I began with dropping as soon as I started watching dramas. I stopped watching a couple K-Dramas at some point when I got bored of the mediocre plot and did not return. I just didn't know the term dropping at this time. I was always the kind to stop watching when I did not enjoy it. Why bother and wasting time you could instead spend on dramas that keep you on the edge of your seat and entertain you.
I drop for the exact same reasons as WandereR.
That being said I also completed dramas I should have dropped though. Sometimes I stick to them and regret it later *cough*MeltingMeSoftly*cough*.
But overall I count myself more to the DD cult and think of it most of the time as a blessing.

As I said, I don't see it as a problem society should judge unless the person who has such feelings acts on them. I'm not saying this to protect or defend such people, I just think there's a huge difference between feelings and actions. Feelings alone are not a crime even if people find them wrong or unethical.

Congrats to your first article!
The Rebel Princess looked quite interesting to me but one thing keeps me from watching it. I'm no fan of political scheming so I fear I wouldn't stand 68 episodes of it. ^^'
It introduced me to the Historical Club though which is nice. :)

Your original comment still says "if this ever happens to you, you better retire, get over it, seek some help and never teach again" and like lyra h I think it implies someone has a mental problem when he/she falls in love with someone younger.
I think you can't control feelings, what makes the difference is how you act on them. Of course acting against someone's will and/or putting them under pressure using power is wrong but if it's mutual and they refrain from actions that are against the law, who are we to judge?
I've heard of teacher/students couples that waited until they could legally marry yet people accused them of committing a crime and being unethical. I wonder who is being in the wrong here? Those who followed the laws or those who dare to judge and point fingers.
I once had a bad crush for a teacher twice my age and I do not think that was wrong or a crime. It just happens, we are human with feelings.

Title The Flowers of War Spoiler
I wholeheartedly agree with Misunderst0_od's comment. (https://kisskh.at/8218-the-flowers-of-war#comment-2194185)…
This movie includes:
- rape (non-graphic but hard to watch anyway)
- implied rape (Japanese soldiers try to rape the young girls)
- cruelty (killing of children and women) (massacre)
- execution
- overall violence whenever Japanese soldiers are in the scene (only a few exceptions)

If you think you can stomach this go ahead and watch it, because I think the message of this movie makes it worth but if you don't want to see how war turns the worst out of humans don't watch.
