It depends. I've seen it happen both ways: Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. More than visuals it depends on the CHARACTER WRITING, like I've seen both of these situations have happened where 1 is more visually good looking:
a)The less attractive character has OTHER more attractive traits, like for example is Super competent and smart or Super witty and has a a way with words/makes powerful speeches or is the only person who knows how to bring out the best of the other lead or has a charming personable personality
b) It doesn't work because they write character as having NO charming appealing traits or give them a boring personality. This type of character can only be carried by a super pretty/handsome actor, BUT EVEN THEY might not save this role if it's bad enough. I've had literary HATED some roles of even my favorite & most good looking actors when roles are like this....

It' on Netflix with about 165 eps x 45 minutes. That might look like Many eps, but I guarantee you IT'S ABSOLUTELY WORTH it! :
1.). It doesn't FEEL that long because it's Extremely well-paced. No boring Moments after ep 3 when plot gets going on Netflix version (ep 1 in original version). It's so addictive too, you'll be glad it's long and that you'll have many MANY EPS WITH A GREAT PAIRING! 😍 No "WHAT Great Romance pairing should I get into next, I feel empty!?!" for a while for you with this series. 2.) The couple's chemistry is FIRE and it's the most realistic couple scenes I've ever seen in a drama ever (One of those pairings people wonder if they date irl after the drama, especially since the actress got suspisiously divorced after the drama after THAT chem lol). The directing of their scenes, they're such a hyper realistic Cuddly couple that makes one Warm inside.🥰 3.) It's possibly the best Relationship Buildup I've ever seen. Excellent writing. 4). I've never seen such an Hyper- Emotionally Supporting pairing like this before. They are the definition of "Being There for each other through dark times (&danger!)".

Genres: Thriller-Romance (LOTS OF ROMANCE in this thriller, romance is NOT just a subplot in case you're wondering, obviously not at the Start as he' greving his fiance. But they have chem since ep1, which builds up slowburn nicely. But also lots of Thriller where leads are always in danger!), Melodrama, Slice of Life. It gets more melodramatic later on. Good ending (Let me know if you want spoilers if happy or sad ending).
It's Extremely emotional at times, emotional depth lots of it in the drama and in their relationship, the pairing isn't only supporting each other through it all, they are also Emotionally Supporting THE VIEWERS by making the pain bearable with their cuteness and hopes despite their traumas.🥰😅

Just checked Youtube. I recommend to watch Black Money Love on Netflix rather. There used to be an Eng Sub version on Youtube, now they've changed it to licence only an super cringe Eng Dub version....Like even if you like Dub version, that one sounded BAD 😅. Superserious melo plot but bad Comical Eng dubs makes it so akward, I can't 🤣🤣🤣. Immersion ruined 😅 The only good point is the Eng Dub is the 45 min x 164 eps version rather than the 2h ep version. There's also a Spanish Dub version on Youtube. Pretty good Dubs actually, if only the Eng dubbers where as good as the Spanish dubbers. 😅
Netflix version is the best with both 45 min eps + Eng SUB. Turkish langauge is beautiful too. Alot of great Voice Acting parts from the actors, they are so good at expressing with their voice, so very much recommend Eng subs version.
