2/3 of whole kdrama passed and ML was STILL cold towards the FL WTF....that really lowered their fantastic chemistry that could only properly be seen in the very last eps!!
It should be illegal for a romance Centric kdrama to have a cold character for that long!!

They wrote the ML as too much of a block of ice eps 1-4. It might've worked for his non romance drama like Numbers, because it's NOT a romance, but here it was just annoying. It wasn't particularly interesting to watch CJH just 😐 the first 4 eps. 🤦♀️ I couldn't even defend his acting those eps when others called his acting lame, when his character writing was so bad.
I do think the writing overall is good in that it has good pacing and not boring the viewers. But now that cold ceo has melted ,I expect writing for ep 5-12 must also improve.

Also, How are they going to inlcude all the cute kiss kiss and culding (lots of that in webtoon, even kiss and cuddles in bed), when they WASTED so many eps ML being cold and buildup of couple too slow? Did they forget this is not a 16 ep drama where buildup can be slow?? We are nearly at midway point, middle airs this weekendn and preview showed couple just starting to crush on each other....Too slow for the super cuddly webtoon couple?? They had a whole a** one night stand, yet are this shy about just standing close or holding hands? lol no logic. 2nd half better be filled with sweetness and kiss kiss to compensate for the 1st half, or I'll be mad!
I think the COLD CEO archetype should've stayed in 2016. It's not working here, and was just frustrating to watch?!!
So far I like this more than Dynamite Kiss which slowly fell apart after ep2. BUT DK did write the ML as WARM towards FL already since ep1, which is what PY SHOULD'VE DONE. Oh well.
The COLD ML might worked in past with 16 eps, sometimes they even had 20 eps...
But with Kdramas being much shorter 12 ep these days... It just takes away from the couple's cuteness in earlier eps. Less time for cuteness!

Anyway luckily at end of ep4 he's now dropping his Cold Walls .. Other than that it's a solid watch (makes one root for the couple, curious how they'll solve their trauma/backstories, the people at the office are interesting enough sidecharacters, story pacing is good etc.). 8.5/10 so far.

A 6 ep buildup for couple might've worked in a 16 ep kdrama... but this kdrama is only 12 eps!!! Cold CEO should've been GONE by end of ep1!!
