On the 2nd (Thursday), the production team of 'I Have a Baby' released a written interview with Oh Yeon-seo, who plays the role of 'Jang Hee-won', a single, workaholic, and a member of Taehan Liquor, drawing attention.
Oh Yeon-seo chose "I Have a Baby" because of director Kim Jin-sung and the character. "I worked with the director on 'Player 2: War of the Con artists,' and we had so much fun filming together, and I had faith in the director," Oh said. "I also enjoyed reading the script for 'I Have a Baby.' I was always drawn to the charm of the character Jang Hee-won, and I thought it would be fun to play that character, so I chose it," she said, revealing why she decided to appear in "I Have a Baby."
In particular, Oh Yeon-seo said about her character synchronization, "I think it's about 30% accurate," and confessed her special affection for the character, saying, "I also work really hard at work, but I want to learn from Hee-won's sincere attitude and effort toward work. I also want to learn Hee-won's strengths, such as being kind to everyone, approaching them with sincerity, being articulate, bright, and warm."
Oh Yeon-seo also spoke about the charm of Choi Jin-hyuk (played by Kang Doo-joon), who becomes entangled in a one-night stand in the drama. "If I were to rate my chemistry with actor Choi Jin-hyuk, I'd give him a perfect 100 out of 100," she said. She continued, "He's always considerate and willing to compromise, no matter the situation. Our acting chemistry is so great, it's fun and comfortable acting together." She further raised anticipation for their chemistry.
Regarding the scenes she most recommends from parts 1 and 2, Oh Yeon-seo said, "The scenes where she confronts her mother and the scenes where Hee-won struggles between Mirae and her child are memorable." She continued, "I thought, 'What if this situation actually happened?' and I thought, 'No matter what choice she makes, it would be very difficult, heartbreaking, and exhausting.' That's why it felt even more emotionally challenging while filming, and I worried a lot about how to resolve it. I hope the viewers will empathize with Hee-won as much as I worried about it," revealing the special preparation process she went through to immerse herself in the character.
Finally, Oh Yeon-seo expressed her sincerity by saying, “I hope ‘I Have a Baby’ will be a drama that can bring warmth to this cold winter.” She continued, “In addition to the story of Doo-joon and Hee-won, all the characters are charming and lovable, so I think you’ll enjoy watching it. I also hope you look forward to how Doo-joon and Hee-won’s love will develop.”

I had high expectations due to writers being Hong Sisters, but then got disappoointed by previous teaser. Their very old drama Delightful Girl Choon Hyang is a nostalgic favorite of mine, even one of the 1st kdramas I ever watched, and the teaser for this one looked very low quality compared to Choon Hyang kdrama. I also find the ML actor a bit overrated, so might have been more frustrated than intended due to him.
But now I'm thinking I'll give it a go, this trailer was after all much better.

My main concern is chemistry (looks so average after the high chemistry pairing Of Dynamite Kiss)+ story development (please don't fall apart mid drama, beat the 2025 curse!)

Not sure what's happening, hopefully it's good filming delays like Quality Changes and better ending rewritten, scenes refilmed and improved etc. Or maybe it's just because the second male lead changed? I don't know! They haven't explained A THING, why they are STILL filming?!?? They originally said Filming to end late December...
This better be just Quality improvements for better ending, to avoid Dynamite Kiss style ending fiascos...or refilming for better scenes....
