Checked the stats page of this drama, and even stats show, OLDER VIEWERS gave HIGHER RATING to this drama.
A drama aimed at older audiences cannot be well-recieved on a website aimed at mostly teenagers or very young adults. 🤷🏻♀️😅 I see more positive comments on other sites where the older people are at. Already # 3 in Netflix Korea after only 1 day, and Top 10 in Turkey.
I hope the younger people's mediocre reception of this drama on MDL doesn't discourage older viewers from giving this drama a go.
It may not be a perfect 10, and script lacking in some ways, but still is HIGHLY ENTERTAINING, SATISFYING FREEDOM FIGHTING PLOT, Grieving losses, trauma, and injustice. Still much better script than MOST dramas, interesting historical period, fresh western genre, perfect casting, beautiful camradierie between the characters, exciting action sequences and visually stunning. Overall an exciting mix of Chicago Typewriter + Robin Hood + western, with some slight romance, sibling relationship and friendships. Also it's much better than popular overrated shallow romcom dramas like King The Land, See You In My 19th Life and many others.
Avoid this if you have ridiculous hivemind mindset and only like popular things 🤪 or if you're young.
Watch this if you are 25+ or even 30+ and find the typical shallow kdrama romcoms trite and childish and prefer something more deep and mature. And if you like 20th century period drama. or Robin Hood. or both.

It's good and satisfying to watch. 😍 Especially if you like psychological, healing romances. Just be prepared for annoying 2nd half of drama because of exes. This could've otherwise been a drama in 9-10 territory. It's still good, just also annoying.

Your loss, even with that many eps it never dragged and still has unbeatable chemistry of couple I've ever seen. Many twists and cliffhangers, kept me edge of the seat I literary slept 4 hours nights for 3 months finishing it because too hooked on it to sleep more lmao 😂 Ep count not large once hooked on it you don't want it to ever end. Most 16 ep or even 6-10 eps kdramas feel more draggy than it. 😅
