I had high expectations due to writers being Hong Sisters, but then got disappoointed by previous teaser. Their very old drama Delightful Girl Choon Hyang is a nostalgic favorite of mine, even one of the 1st kdramas I ever watched, and the teaser for this one looked very low quality compared to Choon Hyang kdrama. I also find the ML actor a bit overrated, so might have been more frustrated than intended due to him.

But now I'm thinking I'll give it a go, this trailer was after all much better.

My main concern is chemistry (looks so average after the high chemistry pairing Of Dynamite Kiss)+ story development (please don't fall apart mid drama, beat the 2025 curse!)

No, i haven't watched all of them yet. So i have some others of hers to watch instead of this one . Unless reviews end up giving high priase to this one, then I'll reconsider and give it some eps to impress me....

I hope she accepts the 1/24 kdrama. Seems like good plot + good costar for her too.

I'm always open to being pleasantly surprised,
all am saying my excitement level for this kdrama is very low,
but IF reviews are good I might give it a few eps just for SHS.

Not sure what's happening, hopefully it's good filming delays like Quality Changes and better ending rewritten, scenes refilmed and improved etc.

Turkish dramas called "Dizis"(plural. Dizi in singular)
always have a MeloRom edge with fantastic chemistry (two types exist:
a) either revenge action melorom or
b) romcom with some melo),

they are long though, often 2 hour eps x 30-90 eps or, divided 100-150+ x 45 minutes eps. Netflix & YouTube often cuts the eps into more watchable 45 minutes eps.
Even though LONG, VERY WORTH IT for Melorom fans! 😍)

a) Action melo rom
(They are like a Revenge Makjang + Slice of Life mix):

Kara Para Ask / Black Money Love (Action/Mystery Melodrama Romance. MUST WATCH! 10/10 Recommend!)

b) Romcom with some melo (definitely not as light&fluffy a kdrama romcom. Many kdrama romcom fans would complain that they have too much Melo & Slice of life elements. Often Office Romcoms & Contract Relanships like kdrama romcoms, but with better chemistry & more melo.
But lighter than Action/Revenge Melorom Dizis!) :
Ercenci Kus / Early Bird
Kiralik Ask / Rental Love


Also turkish dramas love two tropes in particular:
- Jealous Female Lead (many scenes of ML flirting with others, Inlove it in part, butbit can also be annoying. Though some balance it out with also making ML have love rivals/ML jealous)
- Enemies To Friends (love rivals often ends up besties later on lol)
