I don't see her always same, she shows subtler differences and always deep in the role. But perhaps a clearer 3rd Chameleon actress Example would be Jeon Yeo Been. Compare Vincenzo vs that alien projectvshe did vs Be Melodramatic...She plays opposite personalities all equally convincing way!
Lee Da Hee always like a fresh new person each role. Oh Yeon Seo so deep in method acting she remains in character even in interviews so people always confuse her real personality with her Roles lol. Look at some clueless people now after Player2 Claiming she isn't soft enough for her upcoming romcom playing an INFP when she irl is a softhearted INFP with Romcom Queen projects past LOL. 🤦🏻♀️ Her Player2 character might just be the most distant from her real self lol, I'm looking forward to a chameleon playing almost herself finally lol
PMY on the other hand has let me down, can't say I like her acting anynore unfortunately. She always just looks like PMY and no immersion in roles....sad...

Yeah I think there was a major issue with his character being too Emotionally Repressed, and FAR too long this way....
FL carried most acting in first half (maybe even to 2/3 of drama) of drama! Not Namgoong Min's fault, it was clearly a Script & directing issue.
.....The affection between the leads remained too withholden until the VERY END.
The director has only done thrillers before this, clearly he didn't know how to draw out AFFECTION in Romance properly.
Basically saw ML properly emote only once she died and a little before then, before that the character refused to show his feelings.
THAT KEPT THE ML TOO COLD FOR FAR TOO LONG, LOWERING THEIR CHEMISTRY significantly (which was clearly there underneath, just not allowed to fully blossom)!!
I think the issue is the Pairing doesn't match each other 😅 Not cute together. And it's the boring cliche childhood connection romance, it doesn't move people.

I do however think that so far, he's not well-matched Romantically with Park Bo Young. They come across as just boring together. But possibly it's their boring cliche childhood connection story, that's ruining them for me.

Eh I like her but considering that she's already in Tempest also a Spy thriller, this just sounds like boring Typecasting lacking freshness in casting.....
I honestly hope she declines just to avoid getting typecast. Even Lee Byung Hun would be a bit typecast.
Actually lately they keep typecasting many actors sigh, just look at Jung Soo Min doing another Losing House Contract relationship Romcom, Kim Nam Gil repeatedly doing action roles, Lee Joon Ki offered a historical, Lee Ha Nee stuck doing Strong Funny Woman persona in all roles......
I wish producers would go for bolder casting choices, just because an actor has been playing similar roles does not mean they are the best for the role, This way they'll just Bore the viewers & annoy the fans of the actors who are seeking new roles for their favs.....
If Tempest turns out really good, they'd be no reason to watch JJH repeat the same role right after 😅😅🤦🏻♀️
