Our Movie and Love Scout only good dramas this year so far. And For Eagle Brothers first half....
Everything else, absolutely everything else i tried was TOTAL LETDOWN 😱😓
Especially the romance genre. These days the Turks are MUCH better at making Romance dramas. And there they actually Chemistry Test the actors in Turkish series, before casting and have realistic intimacy & kiss scenes....EVERY Pairing such good chem that it looks like they are dating irl lol. Compare to kdramas with only average chem....
Love Scout the only drama this year with proper chemistry, alongside writing.... (Our Movie chemistry was lowered by too cold ML writing. Only last 2 eps had proper chem there).
Right now, going by webtoon firey scenes + acting skill & their very matching acting styles(production clearly knows what they're doing when selecting such matching stykes) , Positively Yours will likely be the drama of 2026 with chemistry.... ....IF we're LUCKY 1 other drama of 2026 MIGHT have chem too..
Are koreans literary only going to give us 1-2 good Romances annually from now on, despite 100s of dramas released every year Omg 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I miss SHIPPING pairings and going crazy over their amazing chemistry..... Nowadays I only midly somewhat like pairings.....

Even when ep count is long (164 eps x 40 minute Netflix version or OG version 56 eps x 2 h. But after passed!3 eps, the story is addicting, it doesn't feel long at all.) I feel bad for anyone who haven't watched!
