I only liked 3 dramas so far and it's already august!
(For Eagle Brothers, Our Movie and Sorry Not Sorry). Every other drama i tried fell apart from trash writing.....
....Though I think this Backhalf August - Dec has some promising dramas, hopefully they're not MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENTS like MOST kdramas during First 7 months of the year..
NONE of the action or more unique plot style dramas were any good this year...
More interesting dramas also pushed until 2026...

Ep2&3: Putting aside them being exes....Why on earth would you even cast THE SAME ACTRESS in Lead Role in Film #2, when your debut fim #1 already had her?!?! That would be BORING CASTING!
Even if FL wasn't the FL, I'd root for her getting the role, the other choice is simply dumb repeated "celeb casting" for high views....
Ep 1: ML Running into FL during the moments she is crying....
I love it when they write it like that (one lead catching the other being very vulnerable over and over again. And then the other grows curious about them, and why they are like that..). I have such a weakness for this trope! Should we call it #CuriousWhyCrying trope....

If you look up Madame Aema , there's so many made, and they are all erotica about a Married woman + her many lovers π This is like a BTS of the movies....

Now watching Emergency Couple, and to my great surpise it's really a good RomCom, despite me usually not even liking DivorcedCouple Reunion Trope nor hospital setting! Script seems really stellar.

Also you clearly barely watched OYS in anything, actong a Paranoid Personaly Disorder FL in Mad For Each Other, was such nuanced realistic performance; or in Please Come Back Mister where she played a man's soul trapped in a woman while also tackling both melodrama and comedy well, she won an acting award for that show.

But I have a good feeling I'll end up really enjoying it after few more eps, after they've done with the initial buildup of the plot.
