JH joining miss Korea just to beat YR is a delusion yall seem to have. JH was clearly so upset when her mom rejected the offer. The brother mentioning that YR was running just made her more determined to try to convince her mom to let her join. Like if I was JH and I heard my best friend was running for miss korea, I too would be envious that she gets to live out my dream? It would make me try again, not because I wanna beat her. It’s quite a natural human response, but people wanna make it all about a female feud.

Last episode thoughts: it saved a lot of things, and the miss korea ending scene was one of my favourite scenes, made me feel the way i felt when JH went inside the boxing ring. That’s what I wanted from this drama, more real intensity rather than the middle school drama we got post time skip. I still think YR and JP are not believable. And I wish JH got a real romance with the brother. This drama would have easily been an 8.5 if they replaced the love triangle scenes with JH not giving a damn abt JP and going straight for a romance with the brother. But the last episode moved the dramas rating up for me… instead of a 6.5, a strong 7.0

No clues as to who JH will end up with, tbh it’s looking like she’ll end up with no one. Which is fine that girl needs to just ride into the sunset and heal. Meet a friend who’s a girls girl like her and live happily.

They can’t show us how she won cause she’d never win, the writers had a hard enough time trying to convince us jp likes yr, they ain’t gonna go out of their way for miss korea 🤣 that girl has no social skills, has consistently stuttered and acts like a deer in headlights throughout the whole show

Can’t with people hating on JH for having human emotions. They can put themselves in YRs shoes but not JH. JH legit the type of friend to go help out in YRs moms restaurant without being asked the moment she found them again and yall think you’re gonna make me hate her?? JH is too good for JP honestly I don’t want them to end up together I’ve always wanted her to end up with YRs brother. A real mature adult who can handle a woman’s emotions.

Jonghee isn’t allowed to have emotions, she has to be perfect and completely selfless according to the people who dislike her. They’re the type of people who can’t handle it when second leads don’t give their lives for the first leads happiness. Also the type of drama watcher who cannot handle any minuscule character flaw, only the lead is allowed flaws. Kdramas rlly suffering due to people not being able to handle diverse characters.

this drama is nice but at some point it became an 안봐도비디오, basically a video you dont need to watch to know what happens. after the time skip, literally everything was just way too predictable, which made it boring. I was actually excited to see a show built around the initial premise that the ml likes the 2fml instead, that was what made the show interesting... i think thats the problem people are having with kdramas lately. The initial premise is great, but the writers go "lol sike" and rehash a plot thats is soooooo (x10000) overdone. And I'm someone who doesnt mind simple basic plots (i actually love them in settings like this), but its all too cliche, even the actors are struggling and it shows, tbh both main leads are kind of painful to watch, esp when theyre together, the acting is so weird? anyway thats my essay for today.

Thinking a drama with no plot but vibes as the best school drama is interesting. Especially when reply 1997 exists. But everyone is allowed to have their own opinion

actually this makes sense, explains how such boring dramas like "when i fly towards you" and "hidden love" have 9.0 ratings. two examples but there are tons more, makes it so hard to find good c-dramas because this website is not a good indicator.
