If they didn’t go to jail at all then this whole show would just be a makjang. The girls murdred the guy , not beat up or frame him to send him to prison. They killed him. I like how the ending shows that they clearly went to jail for a short time, annd then lived a nice life afterwards. And huisu was shown as being happier in prison it as it was more peaceful than being beat up by her husband.
Really disagree that this drama got ruined due to the last two episodes. I didn’t even watch the last two episodes because the show was that bad. This show is like a manipulative ex. While you’re with him you feel this high and you’re blinded, then he goes away for a week and your senses comeback about how nothing adds up. True story btw 🙃

ML truly outshines her in all fight scenes. Jin young also has a lot of experience with fight scenes which made it really look like the FL was some amateur fighter

It’s decent. Depends what you’re here for, if for romance, do NOT watch it. If for light hearted silly and sometimes serious thriller, it’s good and interesting enough. Definitely more interesting than the cliche predictable bs kdrama world keeps giving us

This coming from someone who rated this a 6.5 so it’s not about them being low, it just frustrates me MDL reviews are basically irrelevant and unhelpful. As someone who uses this site to see if I’d want to watch a drama or not, it’s just so incredibly stupid. Is there a place I can voice this concern where the admins would listen?
final thoughts The drama started out cute, then at episode 7 (the worst one) it became apparent how all over the place everything was. the last 3 episodes were solid. As someone who is more interested in the romance aspect of this, this was a very unsatisfying watch, and I would not recommend anyone to watch this show. I'm saying this as a long time fan of Jinyoung. But unlike a lot of MDL users, I can objectively judge a show despite that.
People on here were hating so hard on Hyeji, but imo that was the only good character in the whole show, with the best acting for her role. She sold it so well. Both YB and Jinyoung were incredibly awkward in some scenes. It's clearly due to how weird the script is, but also ive always felt YB has not been great in romantic scenes in her past dramas, and Jinyoung did not fit the father role, man is so good looking it should be illegal but he looks wayy too young for his age. A straight romance is more of his thing, while for YB, a drama w/ no romance are more of hers ( i loved "a time called you", but her and the ML did not match at all in that either). Also im wondering if YB has a "only peck on the lips" clause cause in a time called you the same thing happened where there were no kiss scenes, only a peck lmaoo... idk im just rambling now.
but i think it's absolutely laughable for YB fans to be hating on Jinyoung's acting when hers was just as awkward... like... come on, the scene where she closes the computer... her facial expressions were just so odd. Throughout the whole show her face is very one note.... The biggest issue I had with the romance is I could not understand why the ML ended up liking the FL to that level... like I can understand her liking him, but the way he went from being suspicious and wanting her fired to being in love with her overnight???
as for the thriller aspect of this drama, they did a great job in the last three episodes, but also i dont care for this genre unless its a drama like signal. If anyone wants to watch a drama that's actually amazing in this same genre, id highly recommend "graceful family." People who hate on Im soo hyang will love her after watching it. I just started watching this and I don’t get the whole “the first two episodes were SO good and then it fell off”. The first two episodes were average. Nothing amazing, but interesting and a good start to introducing the plots. As someone watching this all at once (1-2 episodes a day), I don’t feel any difference of the quality after those episodes. 1-2 were also silly like the rest of the episodes afterwards. Nothing about this drama sets itself as a realistic serious murder thriller. The music choice and character personalities all have quirks that let the viewer know this is more on the light thriller side. Also the show is a makjang, I’m not a big fan of makjang which is why I know this drama will be a 7.5 at best for me regardless of how it ends. Maybe an 8.0 at best. But those who enjoy makjangs will love this. This show has actually made me laugh and stay interested.

I just started watching this so I can semi-binge it. I’m only on episode 5 but the complaints on here, although I can understand them, it’s not nearly as bad, especially if you are also watching it without having to wait a week for the episodes. This drama is a makjang, and presents itself as one from the beginning. I guess that wasn’t clear to people who watched it from airing date. But even the plot written is clearly makjang. If you don’t mind that then I’d say you’ll enjoy this. There’s people who expected it to be like the glory??? Like I have no idea where they got that idea from. Is it going to be some amazing 10/10 drama, no, but I am enjoying watching it. It’s funny and the plot is actually unique. I think people are mad that it did not go the way they predicted in their head. But as someone who is so tired of predictable plots in Kdrama world, I do not mind the silliness in this show at all.

ive watched enough cdramas to say that the second half has always been bad or plain boring. I have only watched modern cdramas though so keep that in mind. The one i can think of that managed to be 10/10 throughout was reset. if you havent watched that, i'd highly recommend! I love love lovedd the first frost, but i honestly skipped through a lot of the last episodes. Cdramas are much longer than kdramas, so i actually feel that kdramas have a higher chance of being consistently good if the general reception and rating was good. whereas cdramas can be actually awful even if they have a 9.0 on MDL (sorry but hidden love and when i fly towards you are those dramas for me! its just my opinion) I love Zhao lusi regardless of not liking the shows ive seen her in! so people on here assuming we are haters are just pathetic, some of us are grown adults who can have objective opinions regardless if we like the celebrity.
