Majority of Asian dramas (excluding Japanese ones) try not to have the leading female kiss more than one male…
Oh! But in Court Lady, Fu Rou has a 'kiss' forced on her by Prince Zhou when he forces her to take medicine by giving it mouth to mouth -____- Not sure if that counts as an actual kiss though - lips touched but it was for a non-romantic purpose and it was totally non consensual
lol he does threaten to resign and his fellow coworkers in his area promise to follow him and MCH was like "go ahead, you're free to go anytime." Queen behavior XD
In one of the trailers, it looks like he throws water or some other liquid on her - but they don't show the aftermath or context for why
lol it took me a second to know who you walking about, which probably answers your question somewhat XD
So far (up to 26) he's only had a few lines here and there, enough to make me scoff at his poor attitude, but not much else. A small annoyance so far - though I suspect he'll cause/or be part of something bigger soon
Why the rating is low is a mystery. Because I am throughly enjoying this one . It’s a beautiful story, well…
You're one of the few that think that way - and I'm glad you're able to see beneath the surface and see the mother's true feelings - I think it makes for an overall better drama experience!
I don't know why this particular meddling Asian mother is the one that people have decided to mass persecute but it's honestly gotten out of hand here, and they only seem to be fueling each other incessantly. I have to skip like 50% of the comments for my own sanity and blood pressure ^^'
YZM has to consult a love encyclopedia? MCH is the experienced one. This was contrary to my expectation of YZM…
We know YZM's had girlfriends before, but I'm assuming none of them lasted long and he probably didn't really have a strong emotional attachment to them like he does MCH
I’m at episode 5 and I keep fast forwarding nonstop :/ her family scenes can get so unbearable sometimes.. gonna…
This is a family drama, so the focus will be predominantly on FL and her relationship with her family. If you're only on episode 5 and already skipping so much because of the family, this drama is likely not your cup of tea and you may be better off dropping this and watching something you'll actually enjoy. Just a thought . . .
The Shanghai Marriage Market is a marriage market held at People's Park in Shanghai, China. Parents of unmarried…
lol now I have this image of a bunch of middle-aged people trading pics and info of their children like pokemon cards XD
Although the concept of parent-arranged blind dates is very old-fashioned, I kinda like the idea tbh (as long as the children are open to it of course). Think about it - yeah you might not work out with every person you meet, and some will likely be weird AF . . . but that's no different than online dating, but they're already vetted and a close family member has their information. Meanwhile with dating apps and crap, anytime I think about meeting someone in person the first time I always have to think "Is this person actually a human trafficker or serial killer?" Or maybe that's just an American thing ^^'
But yes, XK and YZ are so so good in this drama! The funeral scene also had me tearing up because their reactions are so genuine T____T
I hadn’t watched a YZ drama before but I’ll definitely be checking out some of her other dramas after this!

They're already officially together - as of mid-episode 26.
