Maybe he did but it was off screen? Or perhaps he's waiting for the Zhang situation to resolve since she's not completely out of the picture yet and still very much has her eyes on Xin'an li. I bet she believes that if she forces a merger, she'll get that position back

Because of the comments about the story starting to drag in the early 20s, I was a little wary . . . but how is this drama draggy??? I just binged episodes 23-26 because the story is so good and engaging right now. So if you're like me and are hesitant to start watching this because of some of the comments, I urge you to judge for yourself.

I think she has visitation days, which are protected under law. That’s why MCZ was able to allow Mao and Ding to see each other at the school event. He ex is going against court mandate by keeping her son away - he can’t unilaterally take away her parental rights because he’s a vindictive d-bag. They have to go through mediation or court to change custody restrictions

I highly recommend Wonderland of Love - it's probably one of my favorite c-dramas ever and I attribute it to my current obsession with Xu Kai. That and Falling Into Your Smile - but that's a modern esports drama, so based on your comments below, may not be your cup of tea unless you also fall in love with Xu Kai haha

If I remember correctly, he mentioned she died in an accident on the way to a boyfriend's house.

Wow, I may actually rewatch this immediately after finishing this, which is something I almost never do.

I think she figured it out fairly early on after they became official - that scene at Xin'an li after Mao met with the bride about her wedding jewelry. Mao and MCZ were acting sus and she knows them both super well so probably had an inkling lol

Hopefully it'll go up after the drama finishes and maybe more people will come rate it? I'm not familiar with how Douban ratings typically work though

Oh I just assumed it had both the TV airing schedule and the Tencent streaming schedule. Tencent/iQiyi has been airing 2 episodes ahead of CCTV. Like the next episodes airing on TV are 29/30 which came out this morning on streaming (for me).

I guess we'll find out tomorrow if WeTV has the fast pass *shrug* If not, my bank account will be happier for it XD

YZM's facial expressions in the background during their hushed conversation were gold - I had to go back and rewatch it a couple times because it was so funny XD

It could be early onset/Alzheimer's - though I wouldn't expect such a quick onset of signs. She' seemed pretty sharp throughout the show so far.

Does CCTV have a streaming service?

I can't read Chinese, but I looking at the schedule it has the TV airing episodes (2 behind streaming), then regular VIP streaming I presume (2 episodes per day), and then in a third row on the 24th (tomorrow) it has the remaining episodes.

I haven’t watched the episode yet, but at least we were forewarned YZM’s dad was going to be a piece of work. We knew he was in jail until recently and that he abandoned his wife and young son, leaving them to deal with the debts he created. Can’t get much more scummy than that except for things I won’t mention in a public forum
