It's probably because of August showing up. He was fully aware of the flirting and was giving it right back, but…
Maybe......I just felt like Day totally brozoned Mohk today. That doesn't happen when you are attracted to someone, and Day is very much attracted to Mohk.
Today's episode was a bit too bro-coded. After last episode's ending, I expected a bit more awareness between Mohk and Day. But other than a mild flirtation when Mohk wakes Day up the next morning, there was nothing. Mohk's eyes are showing that he is falling for Day, but Day is giving him nothing back except friendly vibes.
Sure, he is still stuck on August and this episode was all about him facing his crush and finally moving on, but his treating Mohk as just a dear friend was disappointing. It's like Day completely switched off the awareness he felt in the bar party last week. There was much more skinship today but..... yeah..... bro-coded.
Maybe that's why I wasn't fully able to enjoy all the little things Mohk did to make Day smile and the way they grew closer emotionally - it seemed like Mohk was in a one-sided relationship. My heart ached for Mohk today, and I'm not sure if that's what P'Aof was aiming for.
Im not against CP and Haena. Kings have a habit of marrying girls who haven’t even bled yet, so why is it an…
The king is wise enough to know that those who would want to kill the CP can also kill the CP's child. They are looking to get him married coz he is of marriagable age for a CP. In Moon Embracing The Sun, you can see 12-13 year old CP being married off.
A CP's life is always in danger. So is a King's for that matter. Not letting the CP get married is something the villains are obsessed with. It doesn't mean an early teen has to consummate his marriage immediately. And if he has to, then I would prefer that he impregnates a 24 year old than a 14 year old.

It's the plot the show chose to show. The Red Sleeve showed the Queen being 30-40 years younger than the King. The ML too married his friend's sister who was in her early teens. They showed it coz it happened and was recorded in history. Back then the average life expectancy was around 40 and most people became parents in their teens and grandparents before they turned 40.
This being a mostly feminist show turned the age thing into its head and made the girl a decade older than the boy.

No, sex is not a part of this subplot. Princes used to be married off young but the marriage was consummated only when they came of age. Most of these marriages were political alliances.
The king is very much alive and has other sons by his other wives. There is no hurry for the prince to have an heir.
The NC scenes in this show are what Bed Friend should have had. Instead they ruined NetJames' natural chemistry with split second cuts. Love how Him and Nail take their sweet time eye-fucking each other before getting down to it.
I like all the characters here (except pissface Te). So Him's friend and Nail's female friend are going to be a side couple? I'm actually happy to see that not everyone is gay in this universe 😋 That girl gang is hilarious, orange sandals and all 😂
Already love Chao and Pie! Chao was so bad with his pick up lines that no one can blame Pie for ignoring him 😄 However, being the lead singer of a band did help! I think we didn't get their NC scene today coz there was already one in this episode. We should get one next time (coz there's no way it's going to end at a one night stand).
BTW, I love the consent all around.
Okay, so that was one twist I didn't expect. And it turns everything we know about Him on its head. Till now it seemed he was so much into Nail that he wanted to rush into a relationship. But with this revelation, his motives seem quite murky. Exciting!!
How did Tew manage to survive in the mafia for so long despite following Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy? He didn't deserve that second chance with Guy. Coz really, what's changed since the break up? Oh yes, the backstabber promised *at gunpoint* that he won't harm Tew or Guy again! So all is well with the world 🤦🏻♀️
The only good thing about today's episode was Guy throwing Wahl from the bed and not even looking concerned about any injury he may have suffered 😏 Those kisses were fine but were interrupted too soon. If the show can't give us logic, at least it should give us a good make-up-sex scene 🤨
It's good! I can feel the romance - which is becoming more and more rare with Kdramas nowadays. SuHo is clearly not over their relationship and it has affected even his health. HyunSeo seems to have done a better job of moving on, though it may seem so coz she is too busy living hand to mouth.
Not a fan of love triangles and definitely don't want one here after all the heartbreak SuHo has gone through. However, there is a huge financial difference between our couple now. HyunSeo won't come across so pathetic in comparison if there's another guy who is interested in her. It kind of levels the playing field.
Why are the homosexual characters 'unnecessary'? The poor guy who died had to marry a woman due to circumstances…
I don't think I can blame a man or woman for cheating if they have been forced to marry against their sexual orientation. It's unfortunate, especially for their spouse, but I won't blame that person.
That's not her husband. Her husband died of bad health. That's her husband's older brother (most probably the…
Lady Yeoju isn't the wife of the gay man who was killed. She and her husband were peddlers who used to come to his office and they were both falsely accused of killing him. Her husband died in custody and the guard helped her run away coz he loved her. The slave hunter is that guard.
His sexuality is not a problem. He could be gay or bi. It was still adultery and cheating when he was married…

so many unnecessary homosexual characters. One was involved in extra maritial affair and other one is in love…
Why are the homosexual characters 'unnecessary'? The poor guy who died had to marry a woman due to circumstances and had a tragic end. Also, the inn keeper's given age is 35. The monk too would be in his 30s by now. I hope they end up together.
The makers really messed up the show's release. It would have done better if it had come out properly on Viki with good subs when it aired in Korea.
Coz it really is a solid thriller. I was on the fence during the first 2-3 episodes, but then the stakes kept getting higher. The last two episodes had me glued to the screen and I absolutely loved the ending. The actors were all perfect, especially Yoo SeungHo, though I wish they hadn't played down his good looks so much.

Once Again
These two are also 50+ episode dramas and much better than LYOL.
