I wish the episode wasn't broken up into 4 parts. It breaks the emotional flow of Mohk and Day's interactions and keeps the experience from being as immersive as this show deserves. This is something IFYLITA makers understood. GMMTV is making so much money from in-show advertising and merch anyway. They must understand that not every show should be broken up like this.
I usually roll with it but it especially irked me during this emotional episode. They really need to take their viewers seriously.
I adore these idiots so much! It's fun to watch the Ice Prince melt. But who wouldn't melt in front of Peach's sunshine smile? 🥰
There's a certain gracefulness in this show that's different from other Thai shows. The feels, the aesthetics, the visuals....everything is top tier 👌🏻
The trailers promised visuals and my God they are serving VISUALS! YooJung and Song Kang are gorgeous humans and their styling here makes them even more stunning. The whole show is so pretty to look at. And thankfully, the drama is quite engaging too. I can't quite feel the chemistry between DoHee and GuWon as yet, but I also didn't feel like fast forwarding any part of the two episodes.
It's interesting that DoHee felt an immediate attraction to GuWon but he remained indifferent to her charms. Poor girl kept making a fool of herself around him! She was even down for making out in the car and he pushed her in the river instead 😄
Seems like the contract wedding will happen as soon as next week. Now that DoHee has fallen first, I look forward to watching GuWon fall harder!
Has it ever occurred to you that people see the same thing differently? I can enjoy the most illogical show and I can dislike another equally illogical show. It's my opinion and it's my space.
Yes, I won't. It's already gone into my Dropped list. I won't be commenting here either coz I don't believe in hate watching and hate commenting. However, I am disappointed with the comments under my main comment calling me names only coz I shared my honest thoughts on the episode.
Part 1 The opening action sequence was lame. Too much Haa and Hey shouting, terrorists attacking commandos with knives, bombs being diffused in seconds without any protection covering, the soldiers looking like amateur kids trying to look cool. Billy sees something in the distance and goes off alone without informing his fellow soldiers. Tharn sees a vision and runs off leaving his partner alone with the bomb 😐
Part 2 So it's a mock drill. Still lame. No commando-in-training would ever do what these idiots were doing. Fighting in the locker room?! Which version of army is this? 😳 120 hours of non-stop training? Even the toughest of army trainings give the soldiers 4 hours to sleep every day!
Part 3 That was a police training?! Are you kidding me 🤦🏻♀️ That moment the monster appeared in the water would've been nice if we hadn't seen it in the trailer. The meet cute was.....okay.
Part 4 So many half-naked gorgeous guys and I'm nodding off. The subtitles ruined the only interesting moment with "Tharn's Thought" 😒
Nope. This isn't for me. Expected better from you Saint 🤕
See Tew, that's what comes from being kind to evil loose canons. Now pray that Boss is too much into Tul to let you die 🙄
But I can't stay mad at this show for long coz Meen and Ping are just so lovely together. They have such a warm vibe when they are close and their NC scenes never look uncomfortable. Yes boys, keep giving each other surprise kisses and I will be here every Thursday to swoon over your cuteness 😍
PS. Meen's boss is a hottie. So was Max's father in Naughty Babe. And of course, there was the Head Bodyguard in KinnPorsche. Could a Thai producer please wake up to the potential of a mature love story between hot men over 50?
I just saw ep 1. It's pretty solid. I think its good both concept-wise and production-wise and the actors SERVED.…
Shin is allergic to nuts and never eats his own cakes because of that. But when 2 out of 3 judges concluded that Peach's cake was better, he ate the cake to check it out himself, knowing that he would get an allergic reaction.
This was surprisingly good! I checked it out only for Guide who I loved in I Feel You Linger In The Air. But the show itself is a cut above the average Thai BL in terms of storytelling and production.
The camera work and lighting are giving a Kdrama feel. There's also a gentleness to all the interactions unlike the usual hamhandedness of Thai BLs. The boys are gorgeous and have been styled real well according to their personalities. Guide may be the least conventionally handsome among them but his smile can power a lighthouse 😍
I'm happy to see the 6-episode run time too. It means there won't be unnecessary fillers and hopefully not more than two couples. Always felt that Korean BLs were too short and Thai BLs were too long. Lately a lot of Thai BLs have been 6-8 episodes long, which I feel is the best length to focus on the OTP.
HyoShim isn't really a pushover. She stands her ground when dealing with the world at large, including a couple of chaebol suitors. It's her family she lets walk all over her and that's what make her character so relatable. However, the latest reveal of her mother spending 10 years worth of her savings has shaken her up. If this doesn't make her revolt, then she deserves what's happening to her. Because being kind means letting people face the consequences of their actions and learning their lessons - letting them get away with wrongdoings is just encouraging them to do more of it.
HyoJun is becoming more and more unbearable with every episode. The jerk can't bring himself to thank those who went out of their way to help him. Instead, he blames everyone for his misfortunes except himself. He is delusional enough to tell himself that he is studying law only coz his mother has forced him to do so - the mother he looks at with utter contempt 🙄 So he directed a few short films? Ha! Isn't managing people one of the prerequisites of being a director? This guy offends everyone he speaks to. It's silly as a plot point to keep MiRim around him, but better him helping her become an actress than her helping him become a lawyer.
TaeHee has finally decided to support herself and is actively working towards it, but HyoDo still wants to be spoonfed and be 'successful' without putting in any hard work. He was lucky that his earlier decency towards a homeless girl earned him enough points that TaeHee was willing to put up with his lazy ass. But of course his victim-of-a-less-than-perfect-childhood self couldn't do something as menial as actual work. He is going to get scammed again, isn't he?
I feel sorry for the eldest brother. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place. It isn't easy for a man when his mother and wife are both overbearing, and he is trying to keep both of them happy. Though his wife isn't wrong in nagging him about always giving in to his mother's unreasonable tantrums.
The good thing this week was some development between TaeHo and HyoShim. And TaeHo proving himself at work! I whooped when he told TaeMin he isn't going to discuss anything about HyoShim with him. Enough of TaeMin walking around believing he owns HyoShim just because he likes her.
PS. If there's one thing TaeHo needs to learn from TaeMin, it is to sleep shirtless!
It's crazy how each and every confrontation in this show is so satisfying. I wrote after the first two episodes that the writing and acting is wonky, but I take back my words. The writing is bloody brilliant and the actors are giving it their all. The romance is heart fluttering, the emotional beats land just right, the revenge is oh so delicious, and when the bad guys get what they deserve the comeuppance is so much better than my expectations 😘
Just one tiny complaint - could we please get more of the cozy domesticity between our couple Writer Nim 🙏🏻
