Ok, my thoughts for this drama. First, am really not a fan of soul swap drama, that's why am quite hesitant to watch this. The last soul swap drama I've watched I believe was Big, which is a Kdrama from years way back. I decided to check this out as I read good comments on this. And so far, it didn't disappoint me. I really enjoyed this drama. Though the story plot was a given, there are still some twists and interesting parts that you will look forward to. I definitely enjoyed the humor. Specially on the love triangle trope, though it was just for a short time. The chemistry of the leads are definitely there. I really like that this has quite a lot of skinship. Not too mention those hot kisses of the leads and 2x bed cuddles that happened in 2 sleepovers of the ML to FL's house. I also liked the chemistry of the supporting couple. The Egames boyfriend is definitely hot. I also liked the 3rd wheel guy Lin Hao Ying and his relationship with his mom was so awesome and hilarious. First time to watch the entire cast in a drama. I can definitely say, this drama has been a feast in the eyes with lots of good looking men in it. Almost all the characters are likeable here excluding the antagonists, of course. hehehe And this is one of the rarest dramas that I almost didn't skip or forwarded any parts. But of course, just like any other dramas, it has its downside. First, there are no available english subs online from ep. 25-30, so it was truly a struggle to grasp what's been going on and assume based on their actions. Second, I don't think a wedding did happen for the leads and Third, based on just what I saw on the finale, the twin brother was still in a coma. I was hoping for the brother to wake up in the end. Anyways, still a happy ending for the leads based from what I saw. Overall, this drama got me hooked from ep.1, so definitely it was a good one and must see. Still hoping subs for the last 5 episodes will be available for me to rewatch. And hoping for a season 2. It would be very much interesting to have the brother participating live in action along with the cast. Oh and btw, this drama I believe deserves a better rating. I've seen lots of overrated ones with such crappy story plots. This drama gives you a feel good vibe and definitely deserves to be in one of the top rated spots.
I've always been a fan of office dramas. specially romcoms. So, I decided to check this out even though its more of melodrama. Had a good start. I liked that the ML shows affection already for the FL as early as ep. 1. FL has a great personality. I liked her bubbly, carefree, but smart and responsible character. As soon as I saw her driving that luxurious car, it already occurred to me that she's no ordinary intern as obviously she comes from a well-off family. ML's personality is your typical domineering CEO. Obviously, he treats his girl differently. Yes, they look cute as a couple, still I find the chemistry lacking. Most likely this drama is too conservative. There's not much skinship which is not typical for an office drama. Didn't have to wait halfway for the main leads to be together, but the sweet moments are very much lacking, like they have just been a couple for an episode and thinks of breaking up already. I just find it so lame. the development of the supporting couples are very slow too. I just like the relationship of the FL and her brother here. And I liked the fact that both of them are very much low-key and independent. Like they work hard for their own growth and not dependent on their dad's company. There's no really annoying character here. the story plot isn't much interesting either. So, I decided to drop this at ep. 21. Am just finding it too draggy as I move forward. Sleeping over at your boyfriend's house isn't it supposedly a good time to be more intimate? Well, this drama doesn't show it. Not really my cup of tea, sadly.
This is my first time to watch Luo Zheng in a Historical drama. I liked him more in the modern setup I should say. The first half of the drama was quite okay. Interesting story plot. However, midway towards the end, it became draggy for me. The main leads didn't spend much time together. Some important characters died which doesn't feel right. This drama should have a potential. The kisses were executed perfectly, still it lacked the sweet moments of the main leads. I forwarded most of the scenes as it became too irritating that there's no progress in their relationship halfway of the drama towards the end. highest I can give is a 6.5. Not satisfied with the ending either.
About episode 30, I felt somewhat disappointed that Jiao didn't react to the humiliation, I was expecting she…
I surely agree on this, and I was hoping too for Xu Qing Jia to defend her as well in public. To tell everyone how proud he is to be a butcher's husband and how he loves her wife so much. Sadly, the writer I guess is not a romantic person. hehehe
So, I got curious about the story flow of this drama. Had a good start. I fell in love with the kiddo Xi Qing Jia. literally. Like a 10 year old kid who would introduce himself and will say "I am your Husband." Awwww...who wouldn't fall for that. :D This drama for me would have been great if the marriage was done a little bit late. It went too early for me that made the succeeding episodes draggy for me. Well, if you're into romance like me, this drama is quite a drag. But, if you're into solving crimes or political issues then, you would enjoy this drama. I've been sticking to this show up to the recent episode, though I've been forwarding most parts hoping for some character development among the leads and supporting couples. However, am not seeing any changes. Officer Gao should have been a likeable character, but his quite too timid for me that's why his relationship is not progressing at all knowing there are only 5 episodes remaining for this drama. FL's character has been consistent. She was the bad ass agressive type of woman as the ML is the typical smart scholar who can't defend himself physically. The romance here is quite conservative that you can't feel the vibe of the main leads chemistry. It would have been better too if they have extended the love triangle trope that should have made this drama interesting, but they did not. :( A bit confused about their wedding as it is supposedly a fake wedding, but, since they have confirmed their feelings, it's like they have acknowledged the wedding to be real. I guess, am still hoping for a real grand wedding towards the end, wherein this time they have confirmed their feelings. And after 2 years of being married they aren't still blessed with a child. I don't know if they'll pull that act in the end.
Ok, so here's another Virtual Reality drama trope. Just like the drama Love Crossed and the like. I must agree with some comments I read here. It's kinda struggle to watch this drama as the ML has a weak personality per se. I mean, Jack the butler has the more ML material aside from looks. Am still at epi. 15 and quite surprised to see a depicted scene from the movie Titanic. Looks funny because of they're trying hard to imitate the scene. Anyways, will push further till the end to see if this drama deserves a better rating or not. so far, am not a fan of either the FL or ML. Am sticking to it because of Deng Wei. So now, I completed fast forwarding scenes for the remaining last 10 episodes for me. It was a complete struggle. The story focused on the virtual world that made it so uninteresting. The romance too was definitely lacking. Still, this story would have been really much better if Deng Wei, Jack the butler was the ML. highest I can give is a 7 for this drama.
Sorry, it has already been 2 months since I watched this drama. I don't remember what happened to the twin sis in the end, as I mentioned, her character wasn't given much emphasis in this drama.
Yes, I think so too...this, truly ended on ep. 28. I don't understand also why bother giving an extra 2 episodes if they will only play scenes done with supposedly their movie shoot as part of the drama. the highest I can give now is an 8 rating. If only they posted scenes like post marriage and having kids, I would have given this a 10. I still loved this drama. I just remembered seeing Ming Qiao in another drama, and yes she was Xu Kai's FL in Dance in the Sky Empire, that's why she looked too familiar and Ming Wei as FL in the drama Ms. Truth. Great actors, but I must admit I am not a fan of Wu jia yi. I just find her lucky to be always paired to these good looking men. Anyways, I'm totally here for Jeremy Tsui. Hot as always. And those kisses...very well portrayed. :D
I am so confused, I have reached episode 10 but I did not pick up when he regained his memories about modern life.…
As far as I understand, the ML didn't actually lose his memory. He just need to pretend that he did lose his memory to resolve the internal conflicts in his company.
I HATE LOVE TRIANGLES!I really want to watch this drama but I am reluctant because of the tag.1. Can you please…
Yes there is a love triangle but only for a short time. FL was engaged to the Prince since childhood, but she's in love with a childhood friend that she's been searching, after finding that childhood friend she fell in love immediately. However, the prince she was engaged with claims too that he was his childhood friend. Turns out the real childhood friend was the real prince. Kinda complicated so much better if you watch it. hehehe don't remember the exact episode they got together, around midway I believe. Misunderstandings are easily resolved among the couples. The second couple is the sister of the prince and Bai Yi Fei, whose supposedly attracted to FL but eventually fell in love with the sister instead.
Ok been seeing this drama for quite sometime and still contemplating to watch. Now, I decided to give it a go. Just on ep. 1 and surprisingly it has almost the same plot as the drama Be My Princess. So, I finished watching this drama. Lots of funny scenes that made me enjoy it. Good thing about this drama is that the amnesia trope is not really emphasized. A bit slow burn. the second couple here has quite some hot scenes surprisingly than the leads themselves. The only downside for me are the flashbacks of the past lives of the lead couple. Though, it's quite necessary for the plot, I just find that part a bit boring. the breakup part took around 7 episodes before it was resolved which is quite long for me. And the ending is quite lacking for me. Overall, still a good drama to watch. Deserves a higher rating I believe.
Ok, so ep. 27&28 for me was a blast! I mean they poured it out everything in 2 episodes. It felt like the finale already. :D Felt a bit rushed, but who cares everything that we hoped for was on it already. As expected, Ming Qiao would give in easily. Well, I guess the real lack of time gave the need for it. I liked that they went all the way of having a traditional wedding. It really defined the title or concept of the drama. What's still to look forward in the real finale? I guess, the memory flashes that they have 2 kids playing in the park would become a reality...I hope. hehehe Aside from liking both the main leads, I really enjoyed this drama despite some imperfections, I still believe it deserves a better rating.
Decided to check this drama out as I find both leads cute. First time to watch them both in a drama. The story is just okay. Not really much interesting. This drama is just cute and fluffy. Have to forward scenes midway as it becomes draggy. Another slow-burn drama. If you're into light dramas with not too much complications, this is for you.
Thoughts on ep. 25&26. A little progress for the main leads. I couldn't say that I like what Mr. Mu is doing now, as he should have done this a little bit earlier. But, at least, I like that he is starting to have his own courage. He apologized for his wrong doings and cleared that it is his identity as Mr. Mu who's pursuing and not Grand Tutor. I must admit, I hated Xiao Zhao for this 2 episodes. He was a total jerk. It is surely nonesense to break up with the woman you love even after learning that they are not even biologically related. If I were Ming Qiao, I will let this man suffer first to learn his wrong doings and not accept him easily as he pursues her again. I feel sad for Chen Zhang that he was friend zoned immediately and wasn't given a fair chance that he can be loved too not only as a friend. He's too nice to be rejected I believe. Overall, I still love this drama and looking forward to the last 4 episodes. I guess the only downside for me in this drama, First, they spent too much time with the amnesia trope which took around 10 eps. for that which should have been used for more sweet moments of Mr. Mu and Ming Wei on their real world. Second, the characters of the lead men both Mr. Mu and Xiao Zhao have such a strong ego. I just don't like that. i feel that the Ming sisters are more in love with their men than these men love the sisters. I really felt the lack of effort from them. That's why I admire Chen Zhang the most as he expresses his love without expectations, he was hoping though, but accepted the rejection. Lastly, I also didn't like that the Ming sisters mother didn't explain thoroughly with her children the situation. she just let her children suffer the emotional turmoil that brought the situation, Well, every drama has its flaws and each one of us has its own preference in the story. I just hope the last 4 episodes would still gives its justification for all the characters.
Last 2 episodes (23&24) seems like a filler eps. Nothing much progressed. I would still prefer FL didn't accept the role with Mr. Mu as the lead. Afterall that she went through when Mr. Mu regained his memory, I think it's about time he worked himself harder towards the affection of Ming Wei. He used reversed Psychology of accusing her unprofessinal by not accepting the role, but he's just too eager to get her affection using that means. I think that would be way too far easy for him. I just don't like that part. He should have pursued her on much proper way of a man in love should. I just don't buy his tactics this time. I just hope Chen Zang would be casted too so there would be balance in the love competition for Ming Wei. The issue on the otherhand with Ming Qiao is so obvious that the real daughter is Ming Wei not her. So, I don't see a big issue on that. BTW, Just recently watched The Autumn Ballad and Jeremy Tsui's mother in that drama is his mother in law here in Be MY Princess. I think there's a shortage of actors in China. hehehe :D Am still looking forward to the last 6 episodes as I enjoyed the last 22 ep. of this drama.
Ok, first and foremost, I just watched this drama because of Jeremy Tsui. When I saw him, I felt the urge of watching this drama. I thought this drama would be great due to its high rating. However, I got disappointed when I watched it. First, the story isn't much interesting. Am not really a fan of mystery, detective stories in which the drama focused of. the romance is just an added feature of the drama. So expect a very slow burn drama here. There isn't much sweet moments of the lead couple. Fl is just okay for me. Her character isn't much likeable either. Much more her sister Qiu Min, the most hateable character in this drama for me. So many characters that shouldn't have died, unexpectedly died in this drama. The ending wasn't great either that I gave this drama a 6. If you're so into solving crimes, this drama is for you. But if you're more into romance just like me, nah, you should a find a better drama than this.
So I checked out this drama as I am a fan of noona romance dramas. I also liked Song Wei Long after watching him in Go Ahead. Am halfway so far. At first, FL's character is okay. But as it progresses, am starting to get annoyed with her character. I just don't like women still going out with other men even they are already in an official relationship. Even if she claims that the one she goes out with is just a plain friend. It's understandable to go out once or twice, but more than that...that's not plain friendship girl. I alos don't like the idea of hiding your relationship just because of your own personal insecurities. ML's character is ideal. He may have flaws also of not being able to completely detach from his ex. Still, I like his sense of determination about their relationship and how he values it. So far, I've been forwarding most scenes as it becomes more and more annoying. Let me just see how this drama ends. Hope I won't get annoyed till the end. hehehe But I like the steamy kisses of the main leads, well executed as they were able to show how passionate they are as a couple. Not much interested on the supporting couples such as FL's twin bro. and student. So, I just finished the entire drama forwarding scenes. The remaining half was entirely spent about the breakup. The third wheel guy in which I absolutely hate got his chance on being with the FL in between. The main leads got back together technically on the finale, WTH?!!! I think this drama was overrated. The character of the FL didn't develop until the finale. I just don't like her character. This has been a waste of time for me.
Really expect the unexpected. hehehe I wasn't expecting much on the ending of this drama as it went downhill from ep. 11-15. However, the writer made a turn around on the finale. Not perfectly great, but it was a real good ending compared to 2521. :D I liked the fact that all the couples in this drama was given a happy ending. Not to mention SongKang's dad character development. I also liked Han KiJoon's character development here, from the jerk ex bf to an awesome friend and husband at the same time plus soon to be dad too. The talk between Forecaster Uhm and his wife really made me teary eyed. Glad they also got their happy ending. With the other side couples such as Jin Ha Kyung's sis and the other forecaster, I am not really a fan of them, but they got their happy ending too. along with the other supporting casts. So all's well, ends well. I was suppose to give this drama a 5 rating, but, because of the good ending, made it to 7.5. Story isn't great, at least they tried to pull off a good ending.
Honestly, I am really not a fan of sad endings, so, I really don't support how this drama had ended. I had fun, and enjoyed the roller coaster of emotions on the past 14 episodes. I was still holding on to the last moment that the writer would give that happy ending, unfortunately, it never happened. My thoughts on the main leads love story ending. ..I felt the lack of effort from Baek Yijin. It really takes 2 to Tango. never use your work or career as an excuse not to be able to make time for the one you love. Don't be too career driven as well. It will eat you up and it will be too late to realize you've lost a lot of time for yourself. I admire Haedoo's courage of being able to sustain her focus as an athlete despite the things that's been going on her personal life. Somethings aren't just really meant to be. Not all would have happy endings. But, I guess, one thing I hoped how could have this story ended, is at least they should have tried to work things out in having a Long distance Relationship. With the fast evolving technology, am sure they would have been able to find ways to communicate often. That's the sad part on this, Baek Yijin didn't take the risk of doing such and just mutually decided to give up the relationship. In which for me in reality, if two lovers are so in love with each other, they won't give up so easily even at the slimmest chance of sustaining the relationship to work. I also didn't feel that Haedoo was happy with her marriage, though, it wasn't emphasized. To sum it all, one thing's clear from me in this finale, and that is, it is never worth it to have all the success in life if at the end you're not happy. Life is short, always do the things that makes you happy and don't give up too easily.
First time to watch the entire cast in a drama. I can definitely say, this drama has been a feast in the eyes with lots of good looking men in it.
