You know I would have partially agreed with your comment if the story had been set in the 19th century... But…
Thank you ^^ You too. Truly inspiring stories there. It's also why I quit. Sometimes you come across stories like these of people who had it way harder than you and still made it so there's no excuse to wallow in self pity when you are in easier circumstances. 😎
Accountability is not a stapple of these Thai dramas Alas! But I was psychologically prepared so I'm neither surprised…
For me wrong is wrong. It had nothing to with traditions. It's just something I've come to accept. This might change in the future. When I started to watch K dramas 20 years ago, it was also the same BS about forgiving no matter how much you were wronged especially in their family dramas.
I can't say they don't do it anymore but I've noticed it's way less the case now. If a character is wronged, you can be sure there's gonna be payback. People are wronged all the time in real life and you cannot retaliate most of the time so getting that catharsis through dramas is important but lots of these family dramas just don't deliver on that front.
I don't like it... But since every time I start a Lakorn I'm expecting it now the blow is more bearable.
also I wanna know, mostly those who knows a lot about BLs might know it. GMM always make the same couple again…
Depends specific BL content but Pearl and Peak have already acted in other shows as straight actors. They might get another project together but apart from a very small set of actors One 31 is not into the habit of pairing actors for life. That's just not something they do. Be happy if there's one but this channel is targeted at an older audience so they don't produce as many BLs as GMMTV.
Wait so basically Saenkaew and Sasin come back at the end to live in the same house as Saenkaew’s father who…
Nah We'll have to be sure with subs but they're just visiting Saenkaew's dad. Pin however is taking care of the whole family... I didn't understand the whole arrangement but I remember clearly the father asking how long Sasin and Saenkaew were staying and Sasin answering 3 days.
I heard its more gory than the original!!Looking forward to that.Still keeping my expectations not too high since…
Yeah but I can't handle overly graphic content so that's a pass for me. Every time I watched a show everybody recommended but which was overly violent I thoroughly regretted watching and ended up hating the show in question. For me graphic violence is just here for shock value and serves nothing to the story. Instead of organically creating emotions, then just hit you in your reptilian brain which is as far as I'm concerned pure laziness on top of being damaging. Being desensitized to violence is never a good thing imho.
All in all, I liked this drama, it kept me focused, intrigued, kept counting the days to when Monday will come.…
Accountability is not a stapple of these Thai dramas Alas! But I was psychologically prepared so I'm neither surprised nor disapointed。 As long as Sasin and Saenkaew can be together, I've decided to close my eyes over the classic "everything is forgiven and forgotten". Dunno how many lakorns I've seen with that sh** so whatev'. Remember the journey, be happy about what you can be happy about and try to forget the rest.
No, you're not the only one. But we are in the minority, unfortunately.
I don't think you're in the minority... I personally think the ending is a bit of a let down as well... But this is a family friendly channel so I'm really not that surprised. The journey was great and at the end of the day I prefer to remember that Sasin and Saenkaew are together which is the most important thing.
It's a happy ending... That's all you need to know :D The only thing that was disappointing was that there was…
The ending is not a bad one... but admittedly a bit of a let down.... But I really enjoyed the journey no matter how heartbreaking it was so I'm not gonna complain too much.
It's a happy ending... That's all you need to know :D The only thing that was disappointing was that there was enough sweet moments between Sasin and Saenkaew in my opinion... There's some non-answered questions regarding some characters but not enough to ruin the ending.
I knew they were going to license it given they've already the 2 previous series in the same universe
😁
Such a waste of talent...

I'm talking about One and Only starring Bai Lu.
