I stuck around but haven't seen this episode yet... But if a 10 episode series need episode 9 to be likeable I'm sorry but it's too little too late. 8 episode of meh is not gonna make me rate this show better. It stuck to the meh level it had at the beginning. It's not the worst BL I've seen but it's definitely not what I would consider good. I know I'm among the minority expressing myself here since given the whole argument with people saying their piece, most people who didn't particularly enjoy that show either dropped it or fled the comment section, but so be it.

AH yeah. I forgot that Thai people have unique names so it's very unlikely people who have the same name aren't related... But he does look like he's genuinely attracted to him? Or maybe it's my wishful thinking.
1. Great is definitely going to be blamed for Tonkla's little brother's death.
2. Seems that Korn is also going to get blamed or at least linked to the murder of whoever hired the hacker... which I'm guessing is also Tonkla's little brother.
3. In any case, Tonkla and Korn's relationship is doomed... but I don't mind because Korn sucks... which seems to be a common trait in that family since Great only acts like a proper human being because he can see the consequences of his asshole behavior 4 minutes ahead.
4. Tonkla... Get with that pretty police officer. I don't find him as attractive as Korn but at least he seems to be a proper human being on the right side of the law.
5. It was cute to see Thyme doing his damnedest to get into Great's radar... but I am also 99% sure that the silhouette we saw at the end of episode 2 was his... Hence he hired the hacker or is the person who hired the person who hired the hacker?
6. Final theory. Thyme hired the hacker because he knows that his own parent's deaths is linked to this illegal casino... which would mean that Great's father is somewhat responsible for Thyme's parents' death and obviously Thyme doesn't know who Great's father is so... prepare your tissues.
7. SO... I might be overeaching with all my theories but given how intricately woven this parallel stories are, I wouldn't be surprised if some of my theories turned out to be true.
8. Isn't Title, the shittiest friend ever? You can tell what kind of person is Great by the people he associates with. He's old enough to know better. I wouldn't even spend a single minute with a guy who admitted laughing he just sequestrated his girlfriend let alone go with him in the middle of the night to some unknown places... And he apologized for what happened when he literally saw that guy killing Dome. I mean Great? If you are still friends with that type of shitty human being instead of distancing yourself... you deserve what's coming for you.
I'm hoping you get better as the story progresses because so far Thyme deserves better. He might seem cold and aloof but he's got his heart in the right place.

Tagged "Full Nudity"? We don't have the same definition of "Full Nudity". Full means full. You don't see the front here. I'm not asking for it to be shown but a butt hardly qualifies as full nudity in my book. Should be tagged "Full back view" or something along those lines. I understand it's to warn people who are sensitive but come on' this is the "sultrier version"... If people can't handle a butt, they're going to watch the censored version not come here.
From where I come from, there's absolutely nothing extraordinary or shocking about seeing a butt onscreen. We're not that sensitive about nudity as a whole. Sex however isn't tagged when it's actually pretty "graphic not graphic" in a way... in the first episode at least (haven't seen the second one yet).

So... Hidamari ga Kikoeru is one the MANY mangas I've been buying the volumes for YEARS ( in fact as soon as it got licensed in my home country) but which I never bothered to read a single volume. Yeah, when I used to have more money I did that a lot... Reading a summary and then buying a whole series... Anyway, the manga is still currently being published. I just knew it was about an ear impaired person. I was not aware this movie existed until it popped up on Viki probably anticipated the tv series currently airing. So I thought, it was a good occasion to see what the story was about.
And overall... Well let's just say I though the acting was so-so and the story felt a bit meh? It's not that I think it's a bad story per say... but rather that a 72 minutes movie for that genre is a bit too short to really like and feel engaged with all characters. It was a cute movie though... Final ratings 7.5... But I'll be checking out the series once all episodes have aired... Probably gonna be way better since they'll have more time.
Side Note: Taichi doesn't have a voice that carries far... He just yells all the time. Really irritating. People who really have a voice that carry sound loud even when not making an effort, it doesn't sound like they're yelling. But again, that was one of the actor's first movie so I guess it's down to poor acting on his part.

Yeah, I totally get it. There are times when I want to watch these type of shows myself but I realized that I do need a bit of "stress" in order to enjoy these shows... but this one is too "conflictless" for me. Also this drama was so hyped when it aired that I was expecting more from the story... But again I had the same issue with Descended from the Sun and Crash Landing on You... Both extremely popular on MDL but very boring to me... which is why I managed to drop it before I invested too much time in it ( mind you 6 episodes is a lot), since I've been burned before.
So anyway, I understand that it might be a good comfort show if you like the genre... but personally if there's not more meat to the story, I like my comfort shows to be shorter.
Dragging my feet to the finish line just for the sake of completing this... and I loved this show so much at the beginning >_< but I've seen the pattern of the last 6 episodes so many times that it just bores me out of my mind now...
On a positive note though, at least the stupid needless separation only lasted 40 minutes.

I spoiled myself the preview on One 31's channel and... The new Wat is a fraud? Could it be she did some plastic surgery to look like the original Wat? I mean that's the only logical explanation I can come up with...
Watch only if you have a REALLY SWEET tooth and love both leads... Personally even Jun Ho's abs and overflowing money couldn't keep me. I love romance but there needs to be a bit more story and this is just pure fluff from start to finish.... I "flipped" through episode 7 to 16 just to see if it was picking up some steam but nope. Nothing new under the sun, there's chemistry for sure but personally I'm not a huge fan of cavities. If it's too sweet it just makes me boooooooooooored to death.
