where did you watch it????

I am 8 episodes in and this is keeping me interested and even with tropes and cliches that are predictable I am enjoying all characters and their schemes. The humor and lightness of this show is what I like - it does not take itself too seriously and it looks like a solid effort.

anybody knows why IQIYI is listing this as Unclouded Soul? Is that another translation of the title? 入青雲 translates as Rise to Prominence...

Actually that link now has eng sub- really bad ones (delayed and runons from shot to shot) but I am watching because it's somehow unpredictable and the script is wacky

just started on ep 2. In the version I am watching there is an odd thing in the new waiter scene: dishes he serves are blurred out on the screen in all shots. Anybody knows what that is about????

I have been taking this whenever it pops on my screen picking different answers just to read the final verdict that is so darn funny EVERY TIME no matter who was the lover boy chosen. Thank you for giving me entertaining opportunity!

in a normal country there would have been an investigation and questioning of all the people at the party. Public information would be released to dispel the rumors rather than deleting info from the media. Too many things don't sound right about this even to a person who is not an expert in investigative reporting. The fact that Xin Qi the entertainment mogul is involved makes it even more difficult to discern. If you do not know Mandarin/Cantonese you can only rely on and hope for honesty of others. This show and especially the ep 21 is one of the best portrayal of a great man from modern perspective. I mean, he has been a green flag all along, but in 21 he is the most mature costume drama male support that I have seen. ML in First Frost was pretty close to this, with some mistakes, but this dude- wow! I am glad Geng Ye Ting is playing such roles.
