EP09 is fansubbed and srt can be downloaded now, we are also creating a Telegram Group to grab the subs and raws.
We are thinking of putting the subs into the video and uploading it as a whole packages (with the cut scenes) BUT we need more help for that. If anyone wanna give it a try, even if they would be new, that would be awesome. I just picked this up and am new to everything I am doing here right now too and everyone is patient with me and my BS lol Love you all lots and enjoy EP09!

They are really giving this drama such bad treatment while YouKu is out there giving it's best for Word of Honor (and with it's best, I mean for the Chinese speaking audience bc we poor international fans are left outside in the rain again! Sucks to be us...)

They actually aired 24EPs (!!) and not just 12 :3

I think no one can tell for certain but the ppl involved at the studio. I can only guess that MangoTV didn't have the balls to pull through and cut the scenes rather than have it be declined by censorship but idk bc 'Word of Honor' has some lines redoubed but nothing cut so far and omg they far waaaaay more flirty. I even saw a scene (screenshot) of them holding hands like WOW we don't even get hands holding in historic chinese dramas bc straight couples lol YouKu is bold! Really pushing the boundaries of what is possible with that one. As for MangoTV, it's as conservative as it gets lol We still have the cut scenes on bilibili so at least there is that? ^^*

Yall wouldn't believe this but they updated another 4EPs today. The subs are now up to Ep08 on the official MangoTV Youtube Channel. Which I love! Mango is still far behind with their subs and I am wondering where they pulled those 8EPs out from within 2 days. So I double down and I am editing EP09 right now and upload it in 2hs to be translated. EP01 and EP05 are fully translated and up on the google drive to fetch.
As of now 18Eps have aired and I am determained to get to those 18 by the end of this week! Love you all<3

Urg so true about the whole timing thing. My script is reading the chinese hardsubs and time stamping it so our subs are just as long on the vid then the chinese are RIP

Yeah, there really is a lot more man power involved in this than it might seem to a lay person. X.X I think the vid editing wouldn't be that much of a problem, bc you only would be cutting a video and adding onto it, even new ppl can do this with common video editing tools :3 But yeah, one would need to read up a little if it's all new territory.
And for the subs being in sync with the new video, I would personally re-adjust, it's not crazy much of a hassle. Also the splitting sounds good, but I think everything under anhour is ok on dailymotion. I've seen most Lakorns being slipt there in two bc they are almost 2h long. It does not straight up sound impossible, and with all the work I am already putting into this cleaning stuff, it seems like there needs to be just as much work put into the presentation of said subs haha
But yeah, the whole 'getting the cut moments together in high res' is really sth that gets me. I already spent a couple hours looking around but I am a total noob. There has to be a better way! X.X

You're right about Dramacool/nice, they use vids that is hosted somewhere else and I tried to kinda find that source and see if I can contribute to that but X.X Too stupiT lol I know about the whole Dailymotion thing (it's unlisted and then just shared via direct link) but like- I am so busy with just the pulling and cleaning, I mean, I am not even doing the subbing myself and am fully booked already. If you would like to contribute to the project and download a good quality video, put it unlisted on Dailymotion under a burner account, you can do that! The soft subs are for everyone to use. :3 It would most certainly help ppl who can't deal with it all. Also, I was thinking, if we are at it already we can put the cut scenes BACK INSIDE WHERE THEY BELONG! LOL We would have uncut, full music, full 1080p AND SUBS Episodes. That would be the best shit out there

We will just continue from EP5, I am kinda guessing they will need another week for 4Eps of subs. In that time we can be done with the whole series lol That is unless subbers give up now and get demotivated. So far, as soon as an EP was up, it was subbed within a couple hours.
I have now learned how to extract the hard subs faster, how to clean them up better, etc. We could do 2EPS a DAY at that speed. I am just hoping our subbers know that.

You should especially be looking out for the cut scenes, bc with those cuts, you most certainly will only get bromance at best (cut scenes are listed above in the discussions)

They uploaded subs for EP1-4 but I am only more determained to do it even quicker. I am prepering EP05 right now.
I mean, who does that? Drop 4 eubs at once? The group is super busy with 4dramas at the same time and then they drop 4whole Eps at once? Did they sit on those subs the past days? When will we get the next EPs subbed? Another for next week or something? Idk To me this seems super sus and I am not motivated to drop the self subbing thing just bc of that. If anyone is still interested in subbing, EP5 will be ready to be subbed in a couple hours.
