I’m only on ep 3 and this drama is ruining my health. So far, I’ve laughed until I was short of breath and…
Just give it another 2-3 episodes and you'll be in my category of mild to moderate obsession. I agree with all the comments that this drama is perfection.
Exactly! Right now I'm hooked on "Mr. Queen" to the point of obsession but I know a lot of really good Chinese and Korean dramas are dropping in February. If this isn't subbed soon, there's no way to squeeze it in.
Sometimes I get impatient and watch the raw episodes. I think it's such a bummer to wait half a month on subs because after that amount of time, I'm already engrossed in something else.
True... The kiss in the previous episode was so long... They didn't even show proper kissing... I hope the knetz…
Shin Hye Sun facial appearances for both Mr. Queen and Kim So Yong are unbelievable. I have to remind myself that both are being played by the same actress because she performs them so flawlessly, it's easy to identify and separate them as characters.
I found on YouTube some background story about the real King CheolJong and Queen Cheorin; the stories were more…
Thank you so much for this!
There is a great amount of life irony in the real life story of the Kim clan versus King Cheoljong. The Kim clan ultimately triumphed in the skirmish to maintain power but lost the battle of posthumous reputation . Because of "Mr. Queen", global populations are enamored fans of once forgotten King and an intense dislike of the Andong Kim clan has been generated. If the ultimate goal of life is to be remembered and adored, then King Cheoljong is smiling greatly while the Kim's are grimacing from an extremely hot climate in the underworld. A good footnote for someone who had faded in history.
This is hilarious! And you are 100% right on all counts. I would send the concubine to some desolate island for…
My absolute love of this drama is a direct result of the King and Queen's interactions. Theirs was not a "oh, I really love this person so I'm going to act the opposite" but a slow burn of liking turning into love. Any distraction from that and I'm yelling at the tv and wishing I could go crazy on the clans with something that uses gunpowder.
Correction ....everyone's saying it's the cousin. I think I might have to hit the computer screen a couple of times.
