Hahaha! Welcome to the family. We've all gone through what you're going through; that's why I'm still here after…
I would love - love - love to see the look on my neighbors face if they saw me mow grass a couple of days ago. I'd be happily pushing along , listening to music and cutting grass when I would stop dead and say, out loud (unfortunately), "how could he do that! He should have thought things through, talked with her about everything". It looked like I was lecturing the mower about problems we had with each other.

Title Good Bye, My Princess Spoiler
Did Li Chen Yin actually love Xiao Feng when he was Gu Xiao Wu? Or was it just an act to get her trust? I'm watching…
In the book, it was never clear why Li Chen Yin jumped into the water to forget but the author leaned toward the guilt he felt about the deception rather than love. When SeSe talked of the feelings shared between Li Chen Yin and herself before he left for Xi, it made me think he didn't actually actually loving Xiao Feng during the first 10 episodes. I absolutely love this drama because of the multi faceted characters, especially Li Chen Yin. There's no one person that's two dimensional in the whole drama.

I am a HUGE fan of Gu Jian. Episode 9 is where he absolutely rocked the scene where he takes Xiao Feng away.

don't care how good a drama is if there's no happy ending I can't watch it
I also watched Siege in Fog. I loved the two main lead chemistry but hated the way the characters were written. Don't even get me started on the ending.

I've almost learned every line of dialogue after rewatching...multiple times. I'm hoping there will come a day when I can put this thing behind me and become normal.

Absolutely! The show starts with them planning to elope. I believe that he's loved her for years. Perhaps for…
I've become obsessed with this drama and along with it, the comments on the characters from this site and others. On other websites, they hate his character for the manipulation of Xiao Feng towards Li Chen Yi and also for his sacrifice trying to get the Princess back to the Xi state. Honestly, I love this whole story narrative, but I especially love the beginning scenes between Gu Jian and the Princess. When he dies in episode 48, I sat there sobbing (I never, EVER get this involved in dramas). His story of regret tore at my emotions the most.

In my viewer's reality, there's no way for Xiao Feng to be in a relationship with LCY, regardless of how much time passed. But, for the ending, I think that LCY is walking back in time to when he and to Xiao Feng first met. She's waiting for her teacher, he arrives but instead of choosing to pursue vengeance and a title, he chooses Xiao Feng . After marrying with her grandfather's blessing, they roam the world as tea traders.

It's the same where I live. Historically (up to the late 1970's), women were totally dependant on a man for money, food, pretty much everything and leaving a two timing low life meant your kids could go very, very hungry. Nowadays, he doesn't treat me right? Let's have a "Throw his Sh$! out to the Curb Party" and onto the next.
