Yes but she left early and is not involved in the company. Also sons are favored more than daughters I think in a lot of Asian countries and they usually inherit the business . So his 3 uncles will inherit rather than than the ML ‘s mom or the ML

I think it was partly his inferiority complex, his self righteousness (he also felt superior to her in some ways because he looked down on her for being rich) and partly Rong feeding him crap. He never ever approached her directly to find out who she was even though ‘he liked her’ but rather only trusted his own assumptions and jusdgements and what Rong told him . He ended up humiliating the FL because of this . The man is a good case study for psychologists. No girl shoul end up with a guy like him . He will trample on their self worth just to appear superior and will diminish them completely
