I still think the FL went over the top in ep 20. I think she was a little insensitive too. And that cousin threw oil into that fire. It was a big mess. She may have been worried but that tantrum that he called his mom and did not care for her was a bit much. Nothing can justify that . She never once thought about how the ML was doing or what he was going through at that time. She could have discussed with him in a rational manner. What exactly did he do that warranted that reaction?

Well that particular group was nosy after they figured out that something was up between ZS and her. Otherwise they would not have bothered. It is mainly the girl interested in him who is curious

I am doing my rewatch and this is what I observed- Zhuang Xu’s colleagues have this really unhealthy curiosity about XG. It’s almost like they are observing each and every move of hers. And the cousin knew this . That is why that conversation about his sister’s business at the cafe was uncalled for. He knew they were sitting behind him and LYS

You also have to understand the FL is very young and inexperienced. Given that she handled things well

Oh no she is not a soft character at all but she definitely gets a blow to her self esteem because of Rong and Zhuang Xu but she recovers . It’s honestly such a great character

She is comfortable with him. Even though she is an ordinary employee on the surface, she is on the same level with him in terms of family and social status. They are friends first from what I can see.and they showed a relationship progression. To me it felt completely normal.
