Yeah she seems to be waking up . I am still on ep 3. I already see so many issues with that SML. I think the FL needs to get tougher and get out of that circle fast

Just started this- loving it so far. She really has a toxic friend group and that guy she is trying to date is just plain awful .

I agree with your assessment of the FL’s acting she could not nail this one - I could not feel her character at all .

Really enjoyed this drama. The ML had acted very well! And man he is hot! For the first time I could tolerate Esther Yu’s acting, she could have done better though- on her side I felt like the angst and passion was a little lacking. The ML more than made up for it This was a very nice story. Nothing dragging- even the break they had was needed for their growth. Very well done! Still a 9 for me - for the story and the ML. His intensity and story arc carried this one . I also liked San Lai’s character . It was well written and the actor did an awesome job!

This drama is really good. But I have to say I can’t stand that FL character. They could have written her better. She is so annoying and unnecessary for this drama

That brother in law was the most useless character in the entire drama. Zero value there. And why the hell is finding that little girl so hard. I mean that guy could have dropped her off at her grandma’s house. Or the lawyer’s house. Was it that hard? this was a face. Not a crime drama , not a thriller . Plain idiocy. Just playing with your emotions and having a crappy plot and story never works . Ok I am done venting. Moving on!

Why does everyone bow down to that a hole of a villain. This is too unrealistic. Does money speak that much? Is he god? They really went too far in this drama and ruined the whole damn thing. They turned a good story into complete crap by overdoing it. There is no method here - just sheer madness !

This was so bad !I am on 11 - what the hell is this ? The guy is bleeding and he is running around. Which human being can do that ? He is losing so much blood. Like it is nothing. Why take the kid to that particular hospital? Amd the story is just repetitive . Nobody is thinking there . And how can the antagonist have every one and everything under his control? This is ridiculous. They think tha audience is a bunch of brainless idiots .

He was the only one who was pushing the investigation forward- even though annoying sometimes- he wanted the truth. And I don’t even blame him for suspecting Dong Shik because the latter was not giving clear answers for anything. He always spoke in riddles and all his actions were suspicious!

Rewatching this masterpiece . The thing that struck me on my second watch is this . All the women behind Chen Gong were complicit with with what he did. Including Lin Kan. That is what angered me the most . And this really mirrored society. When Lin Kan tried to help Yin Sheng ‘s ex GF was she trying to justify her actions with regards to Zhao Xun ? Her initial attempts came across as self serving - if anything she was making sure that Yin Sheng did not open his mouth. That was her real motivation . Her’s is a very grey character .

I am on episode 15 Yes this drama got better but this is just frustrating. I wonder if cops investigate serious crimes this way. This is so messed up. .They are leaving so many loose ends. They are making these stupid mistakes. It’s really frustrating, it’s good but an extremely hard watch . Both the cops are just awful! I mean I understand that that Dong Shik is very emotional and has almost lost it. But what were the rest of the cops doing? All they did was sit around, talk and eat. They let those people get away with so much crap’ even towards the end , the investigation was so messed up. A sad excuse for an investigation.

I am on ep 7 . This is a great drama with some good acting and suspense esp the actor who plays Dong -Shik. I am on to 7 and I am questioning his character right now- he found the evidence- he even went into the house. So was it illegally obtained evidence - even so he should have reported it because it would have at least triggered a thorough investigation. I am short of cursing at the screen right now ! By doing what he did instead - he only brought more suspicion on himself. What exactly was the point??

I found this plot interesting but I wish they made the FL a little more strategic. I always felt like she was just reacting to everything that was thrown at her and she definitely had trust issues which did not help

The FL in this dra is a hard pill to swallow . She has no opinions, no self worth nothing. . But I also did not like the ML’s character. Just for her sake he was putting up with too much dhut. I sometimes wonder if she was even worth it . But it was a good watch because the leads had acted well

It is because they are similar in some ways. They both have abandonment issues and they both are orphans who tend to lat j on to people who care for them tightly . They are not toxic - they are two imperfect traumatized people who have mental issues
