Finally completed this drama and they tied up all the loose ends well. Fang Lei deserves to rot in hell for what she did to the kid and the ML. Choosing to keep the truth from the kid and raising him as their own was the right decision . I really loved the ML’s dad’s character . Overall a wonderful drama ! Thoroughly enjoyed it . A 9.0 for me

Exactly my thoughts!

Because of her background she had a lot of trust issues and was very insecure. Yep I did not like what she did at episode 24 either . She finally understood that she needs to accept him for who he is just like he had .

I actually liked the ML’s character in this drama more than the FL. He had to hold himself back many times and not show his true intentions because he did not trust her . Even when she told him in Ep 14 - it was literally like the Boy who cried wolf. Why would he believe her after all the lies she spun ?

Agreed. He was also someone who accepted his flaws wholeheartedly

What he meant in ep 14 was that she was no better than him. She forged an entire identity no matter what the reason was. And she had a holier than thou attitude as though she was much better than a lot of people. That is the one thing I hated about her character

Well they both treated their relationship like a business transaction. Also they were not divorced yet so it was not a lie. I found that whole storyline a little ridiculous . I don’t know how having a ‘great relationship’ means you are good at business .

There is a lot of ML hate here and not just with the plot . I really liked how William Chan played the character too . And yes both of them needed to become better people. Not just him. There is no ‘her lie is better than his’ - that’s not how it works

I also think this. The FL was very insecure and full of distrust . She always thought he had ulterior motives . And when she took help from him it was fine but when he used her for his business she did not like it. That was double standards. That kind of give and take will be there and she had to accept that . She believed everyone else but never tried to talk to him openly about anything. I was really frustrated with her attitude towards him . He honestly had a lot of patience . Yes he had a child fine - he was very young and it was a mistake and the decision to keep it a secret was not entirely his either . At one point I just wanted him to divorce her and be done with it but then ep 27 and 28 c came. Two beautiful episodes !
