LBFAD was not my cup of tea . Tried to watch multiple times but could not get through the first few episodes . I am not a fan of that FL. So I dropped it and have not touched it again. My recommendation would be Till the End of the moon for the sand kind of intense chemistry and love story

After my rewatch : Liao Tingyan was lazy,yes, but she was not dumb . She was actually a smart person who could think for herself. That is what made her character endearing ! Sigh! This drama is causing severe withdrawals .

I do t think we watched the same drama. The leads relationship was not abusive . I have seen a lot of other dramas where there is so much emotional abuse and control and manipulation. Not in this one. Yes their path was difficult but there was no abuse in their relationship . Her mom was abusive and controlling . Her dad was too . They clearly wanted to cage their daughter but no the ML was not abusive

This is one of a kind. No other drama comes even close. I am rewatching it again and it’s still so fresh
