lol Dai Lu Wa is another badass. Between her and Bai Lu this will be an interesting dynamic. I really loved them both in Moonlight Mystique too

Whether it is historical or modern - especially for the novel based ones I find this idea pretty ridiculous. A lot of people will stop watching if this is the case. It’s like presenting an empty shell to the viewers

I am not talking about repetitive stuff here . I would not want that either. But a good story does need good story telling and if it takes more episodes to pay attention to detail and add depth then yes. For example take those short dramas- what exactly are they trying g to do with that? Add more smut? They are so bad that I don’t have words to describe

The actor who plays her teacher is absolutely amazing! He definitely left a huge impact

I agree - the political side is now picking up . The leads are now in it together . The action in 21 and 22 was amazing. Very well done drama!

Wow this drama is gaining momentum little by little. I guess now we are getting to the meat of the story. All these cases are really heart wrenching. The one theme that is see through out is how badly women were treated and what they had to resort to to survive.

That would be the stupidest idea. I guess they are catering to people who can’t just savor a long drama with a fleshed out story and want instant gratification which probably is today’s younger generation with no attention span to read even a book. God knows how these people will live there really long life . I honestly find the short dramas lacking that attention to detail, depth and no story continuity .

I see more and more people complaining about length of the dramas. Given that people want instant gratification these days for everything g in life I am not surprised. I guess they have lost the patience/attention span to enjoy a well fleshed out long story let alone reading a good book. God knows how these people are going to live a long life if they cannot savor anything and wait patiently for good things to come

Definitely the the last 12 episodes were better than the first part of the drama. But then why do she have to get kidnapped again,

I am on episode 25 how the hell did the ML Get framed so easily? It really did not agree with the character they created. Oh well. This story is just all over the place

The FL does keep my eyes on a constant eye roll 🙄 but the main story has gotten interesting in the last 10 episodes. I really wish they had picked a different actress for him.

That is what phenomenal actor means. I am watching Youthful glory right now and I am going to finish it just for him . I never knew that he was stuck in a major controversy for a little bit and was wondering why he hadn’t arrived yet. But Shine On Me really proved everything. I will be looking forward to all his upcoming dramas .

Again Bai Lu plays an empowered woman here. I love how she picks these characters. I have never seen her on a drama where the FL is weak. And I like how domineering she is and the ML is playing a second fiddle even though he brings his own strengths .
