Well Duan Xu is actually very strategic. I would not call him weak at all. I would say that he is playing to her weakness- she always wants to protect him. His ultimate goal is to win her and have her by his side . The thing is he understands her very well and he is using that to his advantage. He could show his dominance in some other way - he also controls her senses. But he is choosing not to follow that path. I actually love DuanXu’s character

I think the ML here is way more attractive than those cold narcissistic CEO, Prince etc. they always come with too much emotional baggage that they project on to the women . And the women need to become their ‘saviors’ almost like their moms

But would it really work that way if he had a wife? The exchanging of senses itself so intimate of you think about it . He is giving parts of himself to her . And she did not do that with the 22 lovers she had. So this is a totally different scenario
