I love it when both ML and FL are smart.
I don’t think k the ML is one dimensional. He is a pretty complex character and ruthless even. I don’t think we have seen much yet. LXY has done an amazing job in this role again. And I would not label the FL a Mary Sue either . But she is definitely a mystery to the Lin family given that she is only a slave maid . We have only scratched the surface as far as this story is concerned

There are technical people who have management skills. She was just not one of them. She needed that wake up call to change herself .

It is just strange , because I found these comments in another drama with her and an older actor. And people do make a fuss if the gender is reversed . I was just surprised that no one brought it up here .

lol I am an overseas viewer and I dropped Blossoms of Power . So please don’t stereotype. And the criminal investigation genre is always my favorite even more than romance.

Actually he was doing the right thing with that merger. She never understood it till later . If only she had not been hot headed and thought through it . He was protecting her company . He may have softened a bit but he needs to be ruthless otherwise the vultures will pick on him. She needs to accept that he cannot wear his personal emotions on his sleeve. You can’t expect a tycoon to be all soft and emotional about their decisions. The ruthlessness comes with that as a package. If she wanted simplicity she should have stuck her ex-bf’s type.
I will not sweep this FL’s faults under the rug.

Well she wanted a fairy tale love with rainbows and unicorns but he was more realistic about the whole thing . That is what broke them. She never understood that he will make some hard decisions as a businessman. She wanted him to choose ‘love’ all the time. It never works that way

Agreed. She was awful ly written as an entrepreneur too- did not have basic common sense. Oh well still a.n enjoyable drama . And yes nothing against Seven Tan - she did well even in that annoying character 😂

I am rewatching this drama. I have to say - there were so many times I hated Ji Xing’s character because she was selfish. I loved the ML in this drama
