Episode 23 was so sad. I really felt bad for He Simu when she talked about the 22 lovers, her never ending life and the finality of the mortal life . But it looks like there is going to be lots of action in both their separate lives in their realms. Things just picked up as they separated. Duan Xu actually made a map of the Void for her . That was so thoughtful. I really loved how Jiang Ai told Yan Ke that he truly did not understand He Simu even though it was 300 yrs😂 while the ML did in a short period of time!

👏👏 you have captured the essence of this drama beautifully. The dark gothic theme of this drama is absolutely wonderful!

But my favorite drama of his is Lighter and Princess. The character he played in that drama was so complex. And the story was fantastic - have not found any other drama like that . It’s one of a kind

He is the beating heart of that drama. His character was so beautifully written . He carried that drama on his shoulders from beginning to end

It’s interesting you say that about her smile hiding a heartbroken past because Duan Xu is the same - he hides his hurtful past by smiling a lot . Jiang Ai also understands best how He Simu is struggling with her feelings for Duan Xu.

Too bad -they are definitely missing out because the story telling has been top notch and the leads have chemistry - and this story is very different from a normal love story . It is so complex and they have to tell it right and the actors and the scriptwriters have done a fantastic job . This is one of the best fantasies I have watched

I know! I really love the camaraderie Jiang Ai and Duan Xu have. Lol they are both cunning and conniving- two foxes up to mischief .

They are both so good looking that they are breathtaking in those costumes !
